My iPod Nano broke so I'm getting a new one. I'm thinking of choosing over a Zen Touch 40GB or a iAudio X5L. (I sorta need help, but anyways...)What mp3 player do you guys use? Whether it would be photoshopping, looking at NFL articles, or whatnot.

I use a iPod Video 30 GB.You should wait until November or so though. The Microsoft iPod killer is rumored to come out and the next gen touch screen Ipod is rumored to also be released.

I'm looking for an mp3 player 'below' $250 or so..That Microsoft Zune and that next-gen iPod are supposed to cost over my price range.

my iPods always break, I've had 3 and they are all broken. Don't get one.

Yeah. my iPod Nano broke after I charged it with a car charger for five minutes. less than that.how about those earlier iPods (6GB)?

I had a mini and it worked for a year til it broke. I paid 50 dollars for a product replacement thing and they are saying it's current malfunctions arent covered by it so I'm real pissed about that.Minis are the shit if you only want 1500 songs, just take care of it cuz i dropped mine a lot and went running with it a lot

I got a iPod Video 30 gb like Chang and I love it. So many things you can do with ipods that other mp3's cant like Video, Podcasts, Games, etc. I'll suggest getting another nano. but take care of it this time.

Hard to explain but its kind of like a radio feed about a subject. like i have the eagles podcast and everyweek or month they have new shows with dave spadaro that are directly put into my ipod when i plug it in. theyre pretty cool since they're so many podcasts.

I have the cheapo version Zen Nano plus 1 GB, it was a gift. It works, but that's all I really have to say about it.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (JHair @ Aug 9 2006, 07:07 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>whats a podcast</div>Like you can download PTI to your ipod without the commercials pretty quickly after it ends on TV, so if you're like at work or school, you can download PTI to your ipod and watch and/or listen later to it.Or like I like to download the ESPN Radio Mix, which is the best bits of Colin Cowherd, Dan Patrick, and Mike and Mike.

iPod Videos aren't the only ones that can play videos or can play games on.I believe Creative's Zen Vision:M also has those features.

<span style="color:#6600CC">Ipods fucking suck, and many mp3 players play video. Creative Zen, Sansa, Phillips, Toshiba.....the only way I'd ever own an iPod is if it was free. And then I'd get a different mp3 player for when the piece of shit breaks.</span>

iPod Nano 4 GBAbsolutely no problems on it for me. People can say what they want about them but I couldnt be happier with mine....

Exact same thing for me^^ I bought a used one and I've had it for 6 months and nothing has happend

Get a Dell DJ. They're better then the Ipods of you want just music. They are built like a tank. I've dropped mine on my garage cement floor about 6 times and it still works perfectly. They're also alot cheaper.

iPods suck. :LMAO: It's like people saying apples are better than oranges when everyone else has oranges.

</div>Same one I have, and I've never had problems with it.Then again I've never dropped it either.

i have a Ipod Video, 30 GB...and its never broke. ive dropped it. ive spileld soda on it. I once left in a pocket of my jacket, with opened gum, and the gum got stuck ALL OVER it ....didnt break.

Same story with me. I bought a good protective case so its undamagable now. lol how can gum break an ipod?

it was literally COVERED in sticky gum...you never know. it could slip inside the seams and fuck with it

I take care of my iPod but you can't avoid occasional water or drop. It might freeze or something but it won't break. Resetting is very simple too.The worst thing was sitting on it by accident. I thought the LCD would crack but it didn't surprisingly.

that can only hold like 250 songs at most

250 songs is plenty. Chances are you're going to be listening to only a select few anyway.

If so, I don't think sitting on your iPod would do anything unless you were 320 lbs. ...you're not obese are you?

How so? I use my sister's Nano with the Nike Sport Kit. It's great for running.I'd wouldn't advocate it for people that use it as their primary MP3 player though.
