I wanna know how Romney's going to create these "12 million jobs". Lay it out for us, IMO its just empty rhetoric.

I'd like to know how Obama is going to reverse the damage he's done to the economy and national debt- with no spin.

I'd like to know how Romney plans to deal with the national debt and what specifically he will do to create jobs- with no spin.

I'd be interested in them both answering questions about the feasibility of QE3 and the upcoming fiscal cliff.

Also, I'd like to hear both of their visions of what will make America the leader of industry once again. Specifically what areas of the production they envision the future to be.

I'd also like them to explain what they would do to get the US out of $16 trillion dollars in debt (the answer better not be "print more money").

I'd like specifics from each about their budgetary goals and how they're going to get there. Not just ideas, but numbers and targets. Expecting X revenue and Y expenses (Y1 for defense, Y2 for social programs, Y3 for entitlements). The difference will be the deficit. If they're expecting to increase revenue, answer whether it comes from higher tax rates, economic growth or closing loopholes. If they're increasing expenses, tell us exactly where it's going.

I'm sure the question will come up tomorrow during the debates.

You're a bit snipey for a Gary Johnson voter.

I'm interested in the truth, and curious enough to at least google/search to see if what someone claims is true.

Five Bills for Day One

American Competitiveness Act
- (Cuts corporate income tax rate to 25% from 35%)

Open Markets Act
- Implement Columbia, Panama, and South Korea free trade agreements

Domestic Energy Act
- direct Dept. of Interior to survey domestic energy reserves and initiate leasing all areas approved for exploration

Retraining Reform Act
- eliminate redundant federal programs and replace them with funding for state run programs

Down Payment in Fiscal Sanity Act
- Cut discretionary spending by 5%, cutting the federal budget by $20B

(I mean, I actually see a plan that's fairly comprehensive)

I'd ask Obama about his insistence that green energy was the future. And if he still believes as fervently as he did in 2008 after Solyndra, et al.

I'd also ask Obama: What exactly did the Stimulus Plan do?

i want them both to explain why introducing policy based solely on business interests of their contributors isnt treason

I would like to know what they are planning to do about the corporations that have taken over our country. What are they planning to do about Monsanto? What are they planning to do about big Pharma?

You seek out the truth in mainly op-eds and blogs?

Funny thing is I've been to Gary Johnson's WWW site maybe a couple dozen times. This is the first time I've seen Romney's. It's no op-ed or blog site.

FUCK! the stupid computer switched after I had written 4 questions, now I have to start again. Sigh.

For Obama, you pledged in your Inaugural address to close Guantanamo. Not only have you not done so, your administration has challenged lower court rulings granting some legal rights to detainees. As a former teacher of Constitutional law, what is the Constitutional justfication for holding prisoners for life without charges or trial? Under what circumstances would US citizens be so held?

For Romney, the Republican convention opposed repeal of "don't ask don't tell" and called for reinstating the ban on LBGT people serving in the military. What would you do with the LGBT military personnel who have come out in the past year? Kick them out? Tell them to go back into the closet and everyone pretend they don't know?

For Obama, there have been no prosecutions of those who caused the financial and housing collapse, even where there was some evidence of fraud. Yet your Justice Department has vigorously prosecuted medical marijuana dispensaries. Please explain why marijuana use is seen as a higher priority than millions losing their jobs and homes, so as to be so much more worthy of resources.

For Romney, your running mate co-sponsored a personhood amendment that outlaws abortion in all circumstances, most forms of birth control, and in vitro fertilization. You said in an interview that you would "absolutely" support such an amendment and your convention endorsed it. How many years imprisonment would a woman get who had an abortion? For purposes of comparison, in Latin American countries with similar laws, women have received 20-30 years. If a rape victim became pregnant and had an abortion, should her sentence be shorter or longer than that of the rapist?

For both candidates, what do you plan to do about global warming? If you believe it's a myth, how do you account for the melting ice caps?

I'm going to be scrutinizing Romney wondering if I can see him as the next leader of this country. I already know Obama and what he brings to the office.

I have a feeling all the substantive stuff will be handle with generic talking points of wonderful plans for the future by both sides.

For me, this election has to be all about finance. Who can start the turn around this country so desperately needs. I have read Romney's plan, and while I think 12 million jobs in 4 years is on the extreme high end, I believe his plan would create close to 10 million jobs in 4 years.

For Obama. What will he do to reverse the national debt he has increased so much during his first term, and why should we believe it won't spin further out of control with him in office

For Romney. What will he do about the increasing cost of healthcare. What is his plan to help all Americans afford more and better healthcare

Firstly, Romney can't do anything directly with the fiscal cliff, it occurs before he comes into power, let alone the President having direct control on the voting in Congress. But from what I've heard, the lame duck congress does tend to follow voter patterns even if they aren't re-elected. When 2008 shifted democratic, the lame duck let stuff slide towards left views. When 2010 saw a referendum and shifted back right, the democrats let more bills go that were right wing in view.

But I could be wrong again. link

For both candidates:
1. How do you plan on moving America past a consumer culture to one that values human rights and freedoms over corporate profits?
2. How do you plan on reintroducing by-the-people-for-the-people democracy to America?
3. How do you plan on reducing the billions spent on the military and enacting a foreign policy that emphasizes peace and autonomy?
4. Can I get another hit of what Barry's smoking because I am not nearly high enough to think that any of these questions would be taken seriously.

10,000 years ago, the great lakes were under miles of glaciers. Where did the glaciers go? And why would you expect the cause to be any different from any warming going on now?

Are you a lizard? (to both)

How much of this tequila can you drink before the buzzer goes off?

The planet has gone through natural warming and cooling cycles, of course. But data shows recent (past few hundred years and accelerating last 50 or so) warming that is totally out of line with natural cycles. Data shows that human activity is a major if not the major contributor to this anomalous warming. That is accepted by nearly all the world's climate scientists based on the actual research.

great questions, sad thing is that even if they were asked, they would get dismissed with lies and doubletalk
