Why wouldn't race be the correct term? True "race" is a man-made concept and does not scientifically exist. But we know what is meant by race in our society today.... or at least I thought most of us knew until I saw the answers in here

We all supposedly fit into one of either white/caucasian, black/negro, asian, or hispanic. Your nationality is not synonymous with your race.

Oh... I am black.
