What to do with Allen Crabbe...

Or.... we need to continue to hide the two of them until after we sign them to extensions this summer. Hendo is our smoke screen.
LOL not a bad idea. Unless a team goes nuts and gives us a good deal for Hendo at the deadline.

Right...I don't think there is any hiding Crabbe anymore...but that would be good, then we wouldn't have to offer them as much come the summer...but keeping them, trading Hendo/Kaman...or just Hendo and letting Kaman walk...and signing a couple of good free agents and we are looking a good shade better

Aminu's defense is overrated. He can guard multiple positions, but he's not great at guarding any position - depending on the match-up he hovers between mediocre and good. But any way you slice it he's no Allen/Battier/Prince/Posey/Batum.
I couldn't disagree more...he kept Lebron James to a season low and is way above avg defender..also young...folks act like Aminu is old but he's not..he's got room for improvement.

One game. There have been many more games where he played mediocre defense. He can zero in at times, but overall he's not a great defender by any stretch of the imagination. I've been much more impressed by Vonleh's defensive positioning than by any defense Aminu has played - and I'm not on the Vonleh train by any stretch of the imagination, either.
Aminu is youngish, I just don't see any room for improvement with him - he's not smart and he's not particularly skilled. He is who he is, and that's an okay back-up.

I like him as a guard so we aren't so small in the backcourt all the time. Henderson will be gone soon so even with Dame back, there is still good minutes for him.

PG: Dame - 34 / CJ - 14
SG: CJ - 20 / Crabbe - 24
I think you can play Crabbe a little at 3. Heres how the rotation should go:

Lillard 36 / McCollum 12
McCollum 24 / Crabbe 24 /
Aminu 14 / Moe 17 / Hendo 11 /Crabbe 6
Vonleh 14 / Davis 22 / Aminu 12
Plumlee 26 / Meyers 22

So:
Dame/CJ 36
Crabbe 30
Plumlee/Aminu 26
Meyers/Davis 22
Harkless 17
Vonleh 14
Henderson 11

This is the lineup that I would run with from here on out:

Dame/Frazier
CJ/Hendo
Crabbe/Harkless
Aminu/Davis
Plumlee/Leonard

Shelf Vonleh for now and keep developing him, but that's the rotation I would go with.

I'd like to see this for a 10-15 game stretch.

Dame/Montero
CJ/Crabbe
Harkless/Aminu
Davis/Vonleh
Meyers/Plumlee

Petro hardly played. It was Porter/Drexler/Ainge.
I was thinking more along the lines of the 1990 postseason run when Petro played an integral role in helping us get to the Finals (Danny Young as well). I'm still bitter we moved Drazen for Walter Davis because we had just traded for Danny Ainge ...

Yeah, it's definitely possible that Hendo/Kaman will be gone.
I see it as fact; I'd b shocked if both/1 were around next yr.; what would b the point? I like Kaman, as a mentor, I think he's given what he can. Another poster (maybe > 1 I can't remember) somewhere suggested hiring Sabonis as our big man coach; THAT would b THE awesomest!:smiley-yippee: Hiring Sabonis is what our bigs (ANY bigs really:tongue2:) need; HE IS the next level!:smiley-istra:

The CJ Crabbe line up looks like a winner! Don't know what to do about the ears though?

Perhaps Sly can help.

Not sure if you guys caught Crabbe's postgame comments. He kept mentioning how this system is perfect for his strengths. Haven't looked at the numbers but Middleton seems like he cretes for himself way more than Crabbe does.

We'll keep him. I wanna see a lineup with him at SF and Aminu and Meyers upfront tho. Have a feeling like it's our best lineup.

Plums>>>>>Meyers

I'm 3-0 without Dame and Crabbe starting when playing online.

A year ago at this time everybody had given up on CJ and Crabbe. They were D-League talents.

Exactly why we should be patient with Vonleh who is way younger than both.

Everybody don't know shit.

I love playing with Crabbe in NBA2K16. I use him quite a bit.
You gotta go to Meyers. He's an incredible shooter on NBA2K16 since he was coming off a 50/40/90 season. Here's what you do. Meyers inbounds the ball to Dame in the backcourt. You dribble the ball up the court slowly as you move down (to Dame's left). Then you pass the ball to Meyers right as he reaches the three point line. Shoot. Leonard shoots 43% from there for me and he has one of the best +/- in the league. Sometimes, if you mis-pass it, he shoots in front of the three point line and he's good at that shot too.

Huh? Set up plays for him to flash up from down screens.

Lets play some time. I'll whoop you up.

Allen Crabbe has earned a job here the hard way..with patience. I think he's a keeper, and he's far exceeded his cost the last few years. Player development..how bout that Terry Stotts eh? Players get better after being coached by him...Will Barton, Joel Freeland, AC, CJ

Aggressive scoring PF with some outside game and decent rebounding numbers. Sounds perfect for this squad. What's the problem?
I think him + a shot blocking big man would be the best counter to the problems Draymond creates. Could be an interesting way to build
