What to do with Aminu?

I think we have to look at right now. If he plays as badly as he did against Denver, he's a huge liability out there. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd rather have Turner guarding the Donkey if Aminu is playing that badly.
However, is this the real Evan Turner that emerged in game seven or was he a fluke? If he really could play like that on a consistent basis I would be happy to see him accumulate minutes . The guy I really want to see is Skal. He was never given a chance. Jake has to re surface too.

Jake may not be ready but if Hood is NOT healthy, Jake will be forced to play We have to have a SF who can help take pressure off of CJ and Dame. The Warriors have an aggressive D. They will trap heavily, someone needs to make them pay besides Curry

I never played College basketball but even a full blown retard would bench him and never play him but Scotts will make sure Aminu starts again on Thursday

They've had their moments but this forward duo has been brutal.

What's their combined +/- in these playoffs?

Worst player on our Team. Cant wait for Collins as Starter next Season

He'll be needed if KD returns.

Right now Moe is playing better than him on both ends.

Sure Aminu will stop KD. I cant wait for Aminu to play lockdown Defense against the best player in the world.

Hmmmm.... you might be right.....

Should I have written it earlier in the day? Maybe like.... 9:30? Or should I have waited until closer to game time? Say...... 5:30? I just figured posting it right before lunch time would mean a higher participation rate. But you might have a point. People wasting time at work won't be looking at RC2 at lunch. That was a rookie mistake on my part.
Whats with the "This isnt the correct time for this" epidemic lately?

Wasn't Akeem The Dream also a practicing Muslim during his dominating days? Stop making excuses for Chief. Given his seniority, he should be doing much better. He is pushed around, can't shoot, play pathetic D#, ...etc.

Start him with a short leash. So, the usual. Well need him if/when KD gets back. I wouldn’t bench him completely just yet.
Hell KD might not be back if Golden State don't need him. Kerr will rest him as long as he can. Kerr idea if don't him he will rest for the finals.

If GS makes it to the finals, he will need to deal with Giannis ...

Did I say he'd stop KD with his lockdown defense?
No.
Thanks for putting words in my mouth.

Well, not a great start for CHIEF in this series. Without KD I don’t think we really need him, I’d much rather have someone like Hood and Collins get more minutes. But if KD returns, we’ll still need Aminu. I don’t know what’s wrong with Aminu though. He looks so out of it. He was so good in the playoffs last year. We can bring up Ramadan but his shooting has been MIA since the playoffs started.

Jusuf Nurkic must be Muslim too:

...so then, assuming the Blazers re-sign Aminu and Kanter somehow, every single deep playoff run will have 20% of the roster depleted on energy and not playing up to the fullest of championship levels :dunno:

Not necessarily. Ramadan shifts about 10-11 earlier each year, because it's based on the lunar calendar. Next year it starts April 24. In 2021 it starts April 13; in 2022, April 3.

Has Turner been in a funk due to his reduced role since acquiring Hood?

I say, give Turner more burn earlier in the game and more responsibility handling the ball and freeing up Dame to play off the ball. I think he'll respond. And if he doesn't, abort the experiment and try something else.

Turner has never been good, IMO. He was extremely overrated as a Celtic, which is why I really disliked the signing.

After being optimistic about the acquisition, I soon became one of the original Turner hatres on this board. I used to dis him a lot. I think I may have been the first to start calling him Evan Turnover. (Mature AND Clever, right ;) )

I agree he's not been good; but I don't think he's ever been this bad.
