I was reading hipsters in skinny jeans were experiencing this, as well as bro's who put their phone in their back pocket.

Why do people put their phone in their back pocket? Seems like sitting on it can't be a good thing.

Yeah, and I'd be more worried of it getting pickpocketed. Seems weird to me, a lot of girls do this too.

Btw, remember the debate about apple stock a while back? Well, when the stock was at the lowest point, I made a $600 a share guess. Since then the stock split 7/1. Right now, the stock would be valued over $700

Reports from consumers claim that storing an iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus can cause the body of the phone to warp.

This is according to Geek.com, which claims some consumers have complained about the phone cases having bent after merely sitting in a pants pocket for an extended amount of time.

The author reported that his own iPhone 6 unit had experienced some warping, although it was significantly less than what others had experienced.

Hands-on with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

"Just to be on the safe side, shortly after reading these reports I [Geek.com's Russell Holly] checked out my own iPhone 6 and discovered a similar — but significantly less noticeable — effect. Much like these other reports, my phone had been in my front pocket for an extended period of time while I was driving. The phone is otherwise in perfect working order, and has never once been dropped or sat on (or anything)."

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models are designed to be lightweight, made out of aluminum with soft, curved edges. It's possible that the phone's ligtweight construction may be to blame for the warping.

People Are Still Lining Up Like Crazy At The Apple Store For The iPhone 6

It's been a few days since Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus went on sale, and more than 100 people were still gathered outside Apple's flagship store.

I bet Samsung wishes they could get this type of response like Apple fandom. Even with the bending phone, mud throwing marketing campaign, and release of a "hypothetical higher quality" phone; they aren't even close.

It's like peewee football players trying to defend NFL allstars!

Shiiiiiit! I left my MacBook in my back pocket!!!!!

Skinny Jean hipsters! how tight are those pants that it would bend a phone lolz.

Apparently the newest iOS8 update that is fixing the bugs in the Health tracker shit kills touch ID and cellular service for some people. What a fucking cock-up, this launch is so Windows-esque.

Had my phone for 48 hours and love it! Had no problems.

I would not recommend anyone install 8.0.1 update.

Apple's new iOS 8 is causing apps to crash 65 percent more frequently than iOS 7, according to a report updated Wednesday by mobile analytics company Crittercism.

But there's a big catch here: Crittercism is comparing current rates for the week-old iOS 8 to the year-old iOS 7. New operating systems frequently launch with initial bugs and other issues -- particularly for the earliest adopters -- and Apple typically pushes system updates through quickly.

Overall, iOS 8 is causing apps to crash 3.29 percent of the time as of midnight Tuesday, Crittercism said. That's compared with the current 2 percent crash rate for iOS 7. Crittercism has been tracking crash rates since September 17, the day Apple released iOS 8, and rates peaked on September 21 at 3.56 percent. Unsurprisingly, older devices including the iPhone 4S, 5 and 5S experienced higher crash rates. Apple did not immediately reply to a request for comment.

Apple's iOS 8.0.1 update breaks cellular connectivity, Touch ID support for many users

Following the release of iOS 8.0.1 on Wednesday, many users began experiencing issues with the maintenance and software update, finding that their handset could no longer establish a cellular connection or recognize their fingerprint upon installing.

Users who have not yet installed iOS 8.0.1 are advised to hold off, as the problems presented by the update appear to affect a large number of users.

Initial reports suggest that the update causes issues for a variety of different iPhone models, including the newest iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Carrier connectivity issues are occurring across the board, affecting AppleInsider readers on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.

After updating their system to iOS 8.0.1, users have also found that the Touch ID fingerprint unlock for their handset no longer works. Attempts to add a new fingerprint to the system return the error message shown above.

In the meantime, users can still unlock their iPhone with their secure passcode, and connect to data over Wi-Fi.

I always wait a couple of weeks on any iOS update, just to see what bugs emerge and allow time for them to be ironed out. No iOS feature is crucial to have the day it's released.
