I think that’s the last major requirement from NO. Maybe a vet min PG too.

Thoughts?

Kieff Morris
JaMychal Green
Anthony Tolliver
Jonas Jerebko
Noah Vonleh

those are a few i can think of that might go for the minimum, of course some more likely than others. Kieff, Green or Vonleh would be ok I believe.

Worth remembering Dame gushing about Skal last year... At some point, continued development of a talent like him might be more important than a 9th or 10th man... There will always be trades or cuts at the deadline that we could take advantage of (see: Kanter) for the playoffs...

Barring injury, improving our backup PF might net us one or two more regular season wins???

Would love Chandler
Our kids went to school together (his daughter, Jaya, is the tattoo over his Adam's apple, which still freaks me out). Wilson and his wife Erica were always asking me about Portland. They like the small town, laid back lifestyle. I think if he had his druthers, he'd love to be in PDX.

However, he's quite expensive. Probably too much even in a trade.

I agree with this. Skal is an exciting talent that I'm very interested in seeing play. I'd rather just roll with him than add another.

Morris twins! We still need a reliable PF.

At least they wouldn't be pulling our shorts down. Could Markieff get away with an out of bounds shot at the buzzer as a Blazer?

I think something we all are forgetting is, we have an asset still. Our first round pick. We should look to trade it for another big, Indiana’s frontcourt is really crowded rn, wouldn’t mind snatching up Sabonis for a pick...

Blazers could still sign Kanter to a vet min

Man that would sure create issues whenever Nurk comes back.

Nice issue to have. We would have a huge expiring in Whiteside while remaining competitive. Would also not have to rush Nurk back.

I think the better option would be for Kanter to sign elsewhere and we trade for him at the deadline.

It would make the Blazers deep though...adding Kanter and a PF at vet min. Blazers would be flush.
