What we “know”

I don’t think he has to learn English. The team will just have a translator with him 24/7. Probably even on the sidelines in TO’s, in the film room, at practices.

No, but Yang averaged 33 a night in the CBA. I see a lot of center by committee in our future anyway.
STOP FAMS! Somebody named Randolph Morris has average 30 and 12 in China for the last decade. Shit, I’d average at least 12 and 10 right now!

Since Clingan statistically put up better numbers last season than Ayton - yes.

Keep Walker/Timelord/Yang/Duop around for center help if needed.
You are a stat sheet guy instead of an eye guy huh?

Yang averaged 33 minutes per game. That's what I was trying to say.

Trying to picture how that works when the coach or players are yelling defensive assignments in game. Can the translator run up and down the court screaming too?

The CBA season is just a few games over 1/2 as long as the NBA season. So we will have to see if he can put in those minutes a full 82 game season. Figure it would be the case, but that’s an extra 36 games in the NBA.

The one rumor I heard and it’s a rumor so I don’t know it and I probably shouldn’t bring it up in this thread is the possibility of a Chinese buyer.
Now that would make sense to me.
Baseless speculation.
The sale is going to auction. It's going to be almost entirely price based. They are still in the very early stages of the sales process.

I've been staying positive about our new rookie. So, I'll go the other way. We spent, on what could be our last lottery pick for a while, on a future 1st of unknown value and a nonrotation guy.

The Blazers aren’t done

Drafting Yang Jokic means RWIII is all but gone

This team still does stupid shit, way too much

What am I missing
Obviously not done because nothing makes sense so far. Adding Jrue Holiday and Yang Hansen to this team has to be step one. Right? RIGHT?

Wow. Somehow Hansen’s popularity was the most secretive in nba history considering 0 people had him going in the first round but now the warriors wolves etc all were ready to pounce. lol

Only thing we know is Cronin is a complete tool and he even knows once there is a new owner he is out of a job and then will go on a spin doctor type tour blaming everyone so he can get another job in a few years ... bank on this

The Cleveland Guardians employ a fulltime translator because half the team has trouble with English. :)

Actually I believe two had him going in the first round. The Wolves and Nets were for sure, yes.

If they keep Grant and Jrue, I don't think anyone they would have drafted at 16 would have been a rotational guy.
#11 might slightly be a different story

On another note I saw this. Sorry if it has already been posted:

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/64...raft-first-round-2025-pelicans-hornets-spurs/

"Still, the Yang Hansen pick at No. 16 is one of the most surprising of the last decade. There was some reason to take him there, given that Portland really liked him. League sources indicated that Brooklyn was interested in selecting Yang, and with the Nets possessing four picks between No. 19 and No. 27, the Blazers would have had to dodge an awful lot of obstacles to get their guy"

Only that matters is unloading Grant and Timelord. I refuse to accept a opening night starting 5 of:
Jrue
Deni
Tou
Grant
Ayton

Why? What if they’re trying to win now
