Hypothetically, what will be the ramifications in the US if this happens?

Oh fuck, not that CuckOr Paul Ryan is waiting in the wings for a coup
I mean . . . It would never happen, but I'll definitely get some popcorn and enjoy the show if they try to pull it off.Not a chance.
But it would go to the House of Representatives if nobody gets 270. Being republican, they'd pick a republican. Likely Trump (he won), but it could be anyone, in theory.
When one elector from Texas said he'd go rogue and not vote for Trump, it made the headlines in the newspapers.
Buried deep in the articles, maybe, it read "8 democrat electors are not going to vote for Clinton."
The idea going around is to get enough democrats and republicans together to vote in Kasich.
Trump's skin would change to a shade of orange never seen before outside of the gates of hell.
They want to be left when the swamp is drained would be my guess...like musselsInteresting. Some Washington faithless electors strayed from Clinton. Not sure what to make of all this.

Faithless electors so far are Democrats, not Republicans
Electors in Minnesota, Maine and Washington refused to back Clinton
In the run-up to the vote of the Electorial College, all eyes had been on whether any Republican electors would refuse to vote for Donald Trump. There had reports of last-ditch lobbying asking electors to switch from Trump to Clinton.
Instead, it has been Democratic electors who were balking.
In Washington state, three Democratic electors voted for Colin Powell and one for Faith Spotted Eagle, who has been fighting the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota, instead of Clinton.
There were also reports that two electors, one in Maine and another Minnesota, tried but failed in their efforts not to vote for Clinton.
