What about it. If she kills the fetus, its murder. simple as that.

I hope you find a more sympathetic person than yourself when you find out your daughter is raped. I doubt she'd ever trust someone like you enough to tell you in the first place.

I had a lot of respect for you until you posted that piece of hateful garbage.

Nobody but you said that plants are people. You said intentionally terminating life is murder. Under your definition harvesting a plant is murder. I can't help it, THAT IS WHAT YOU SAID!

You don't seem to comprehend the numbers here. Denying modern medical care to pregnant woman would directly lead to MILLIONS of dead fetus's that would be alive if they were given medical care. It's an intentional choice whether or not to give pregnant woman modern medical care. Your logic dictates that a choice not to provide care is murder.

not really. i believe hospitals have to take a pregnant patient in labor I believe. This woman showed up at Kaiser which is a private entity and she had no health insurance. So they did provide "modern medical care" in this emergency situation.

I mean, what do you see with the absence of universal healthcare? groups of families pooling together to deliver their own children and provide surgery on each other?

You are way off base here in thinking that aborting a child is only wrong cause Christianity made it wrong. It's wrong because you are taking a life, end of story.

No, I hate to break it to you but that is not the end of story. Only a very tiny percentage of humans believe a fetus is a living, breathing human. And they are all by definition, wrong.

P.S. Who came up with the idea/propaganda that a fetus was life? Christians. So I am actually not off base at all.

P.P.S. Abortion is not mentioned once in the bible.

Then how come if a murder kills a pregnant woman they are charged with killing both people? Is that because science and man's law determines that fetus is a person? Yes.

Because that is a law in some states, but not all. Terrible logic, please take a basic logic class.

Is that because science and man's law determines that fetus is a person? Yes.

Uh, no. The religious right keeps science out of law as much as they can. Most law is based on fear and religious values.

Possessing marijuana is against the law. Is that based on science? Exactly the opposite. Saying, "the law is the law" is ignorance of the highest level. To say that you'd have to believe that every United States President from Washington to Lincoln, to Carter, to Bush, to Clinton, to Obama should go to jail for using marijuana. Most presidents up until recently smoked marijuana while leading this country. They would all be criminals in todays America.

I guess n*ggers aren't really humans either. That was the law too you know. They were only part human. If it wasn't for pot smoking Lincoln you might own a slave and think it your right. Actually your black and white thinking proves you would own a slave.

The law is always < common sense.

so what if she didn't take her vitamins? are you supposed to take your vitamins?
the primary one you're supposed to take to prevent crib death I believe is folic acid and you can get that through eating food, as with most vitamins.

I mean, what do you mean, if she purposefully withheld eating any vitamins for some reason?

i'm not quite sure where you're going with this

He's trying to paint you into making a demarcation by coming up with silly hypotheticals. It's a cute HS debating tactic.

Agent -- Is removing a conjoined twin after birth knowing that it will cause the death of one of the twins, murder? Not trying to argue, just curious on your point of view.

The definition of murder is usually the intentional killing of another -- which I think obviously distinguishes a miscarriage from an abortion assuming life begins at conception.

Sometimes there are legal defenses to murder (such as self-defense) etc. How about if an insane doctor does the abortion, is the abortion justified? Sorry -- just wanted to try the HS debate strategy.
