It would help if you had some credible meaningful statistics. Anecdotes are interesting but essentially meaningless.

Lot of aggressive tailgaters in America...lot of road rage...one thing about asian drivers....you won't see road rage from them at all.

lanny. I posted link after link.
I then asked the same of you and quoted all your posts regarding the horse whipping video. You said you posted a link, but without a link to a video showing up in your posts, only a link to a report claiming it. No actual video. You then told me to drop it because your head was spinning.

The only video posted has been declared unable to confirm if the accusation happened or not, hence many people saying it should be investigated. There is no clear evidence of horse patrol whipping anyone, or no investigation would really be needed.

Now your gonna come back and ask for credible links when i posted half a dozen or so on the state of the city?

Please dont come at me telling me i didn't post credible links when just the other day i showed you, you didnt post a single video you insisted you posted.
If you would have reread your own posts… you first say you posted it….Then said you couldn't cause it was too hard…..Then said you saw it on the news.

I quoted every one of your posts and instead of rereading them to see the different statements, you complained i was making your head hurt…

Seriously. Dont ask me for credibility when your not even willing to go back over your own posts to see the confliction from one to the next….

and ill add statistics can be manipulated. Ill trust my own eyes over some manipulated stat to fit a narrative( because all stats can be cherry picked to do so)

the pictures, the videos, the complaints, my own witnessing while driving around town…

i don't need to provide statistics. Anyone denying the city has large issues in many parts, just has their head in the sand.
Period.

Now. If you aren't even willing to go address and explain the conflicting posts you made regarding the horse whipping, don't expect me to cater to your requests….

This is the problem with America. People think, because they saw something, that they know more about everything pertaining to it than professionals who've studied it for years...

Defunding the police is not cutting their budget, it's rebuilding a police force for the ground up. Budget cuts happen all the time. The Portland Police have had their budget cut in certain areas but still had their overall budgets increased. See the mounted horse patrol as an example. That program was cut from the budget but the overall budget was increased. So cutting a program(s) or a department is not defunding the police.

Now in posting this I am not advocating defunding the Portland Police. I'm just providing real-world information on what exactly defunding the police is, why it happened in one major city and the problems and successes that came with it. It really is worth listening to because I think it will help all of us in this thread of having a concern about how law enforcement operates and how we can make it better.

It's not a long interview/conversation but it's worth listening to.

That was a post that I had started and not yet posted for some unknown reason. I should have just bit the bullet and canceled it. I apologize.
