And OMG a gun for bicyclists? Some people absolutely shouldn't have a gun. This is one of them. Guns should never be used for intimidation like that. Only self defense.

Can we at least say he's Woodland's problem ... or maybe Washougal? I get it, these events shut down blocks and make it very irritating to get around, but no need for a gun to be pulled. Without the gun and just dealing with bicyclist I might have been on his side, I've had a few run ins with bicyclists and they have been very arrogant and think they own the road, but as soon as the gun gets pulled, he's lost all sympathy. Just glad it didn't escalate and nothing serious happened.

I didn't know they changed. Quakers have a strange history (the group, not the school). They were massive slave traders, but also spear-headed the movement to end slavery.

Yep. Boston was worse when I was there. Potrtland just looks worse because of the tents.

Yeah the downtown sucks. I got married in that area and stayed down there.

Didn't seem as bad as portland though.

Less commerce and more a business district, but Portland seemed to have more random vandalism and broken windows.

Last time I saw more homeless in the burbs than before. Bunch of crackheads and shit.

We may move to Dallas in a few years as wife's family and friends are there. Not gonna move back to Portland, the weather is too depressing
