1 killed inside Fantasyland in Southeast Portland

PORTLAND, Ore (KOIN) — One person was shot to death inside Fantasyland, an adult store and smokeshop in Southeast Portland, Sunday morning.

The shooting was reported around 10:25 a.m., police said in a release. One person was dead inside the business when officers arrived.

On its Facebook page, Fantasyland bills itself as “one of the best adult entertainment stores in Portland.” The store at 5228 SE Foster is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Authorities have not yet revealed any details about potential suspects or arrests.

An investigation is currently underway. Anyone with information is asked to contact Portland police and reference case number 23-105084.

This killing marks the 25th homicide recorded in Portland in 2023. Of those, 21 have been from gunfire.

Did you read this link? It doesn’t tell you what happened. Did I miss something.I clicked on it because I’m very interested in how real estate prices work. My house has skyrocketed in value even though we live in a “shithole” city. I would love to know why. This article says nothing about PDX except the picture was taken there.

Appreciate the tip. My wife and I are regulars at XLB and are well acquainted with Linh and Jasper. They are wonderful people. I didn't realize the pod was open yet and look forward to visiting it. And for those who live in the southern 'burbs (or who find themselves wandering through there....

Not sure if you guys have this in your neighborhood. All around ours are these mini libraries that you can borrow or loan books to for people to read. It’s super cool. We have one on our corner.

We have these all over McMinnville. Very cool idea. I’ve seen a couple in Hilo but they are definitely limited here.
