ABM are you concerned about the millions of additional abortions that most certainly happen the next four years? I am sure women are just so pumped to abort now without any worries. Just abort abort abort, all day long. It'll be so fun for them.

Let me clarify. Abortions - in and of themselves - are sickening. This is my opinion. However, it's MY opinion.

Does the government actually fund abortions? Because a better, probably more accurate, way of saying that would be "if government help make adoption easier, and gave people access to birth control, and health care, maybe abortions wouldn't be used as an option as much"

Let's think about this for a minute. How do you propose the government funds adoptions?

Should people get free babies? First lesson you learn when you are trying to get pets adopted is that you don't give them away for free. Even a nominal fee makes people think for a second if they really want that puppy or not.

Should people get paid to take on the responsibility of adopting a child? I feel that some support should be offered to anyone with kids but paying people to adopt just screams corruption and not in the best interest of the child. What about alternative support like child care and food stamps, what is your position on social programs like that for actual living babies?

I'm talking about teen education, homes/shelters for mothers, responsible subsidizing (formula, diapers, etc., etc.) for qualifying adoptive parents. There are many other efforts that can be done there.
 
Babies born in the USA that are up for adoption should count as 2 dependents on taxes.

Double the tax benefit.

You do understand the difference between "funding abortions" and "funding companies that provide" them, right?

Because the money that was provided to places like Planned Parenthood, by the Feds, weren't funding abortions, as the money that those agencies got didn't pay for abortions.

Either way, I'd rather those monies be channeled in other directions. As an example, more public education at the teen and pre-teen levels would be nice. Any way you look at it, abortions can be a dangerous alternative to protection, better choices, etc. Look at it this way, recreational drugs are part of our society and many use them responsibly. Does that mean there should be no primary/secondary education as to the potential dangers, etc.? Perhaps this isn't the best analogy, but I think you get the idea.

You do realize that a lot of the $ that goes to places like PP, does exactly that, right?

Give teens free birth control without parental notification.

Colorado did that and saw an 80% reduction in teen births and abortions.

Hmmmmm.....you don’t trust teenagers (or women) to do the right thing with their own bodies but you trust “conservative” adults to do the right thing with their country. Got it. Personally, events of the past 4 years have convinced me that teenagers are more trustworthy.......and more intelligent.
