There's so much to be excited about, even if the team itself isn't going to be a contender. What's got you most excited?

Excited that Nates offensive offense is gone &
Looking forward to see how Stotts can utilize the roster.

Lotto.

I think S2's official draft thread is going to start VERY early this season.

Lillard, of course. But I'm also excited to see if ...
any of the young bucks will step up (especially Nolan Smith).
any of the young eurostiffs will step up.
we'll be able to use our capspace/youngins to make an offbalance trade.
we'll be able to make the playoffs.

Seeing if Nic can take his game to the next level.

What has me the most excited is this poll !!!!!

It has my name in it !!!!!

I'm going to vote from every computer I can!!!!

Hey this sucks. There's a quota on how many times I can vote. Denny must be from Chicago. Mayor Daley took away the excitement of this poll.

Back in the day on ESPN, I once wanted a poll to go my way, so I used about 12 screen names on it. This board needs BobWhitsittsGhost !

How is Nic not an option on this poll?

I picked Stotts, just because I'm anxious to see a real offense and not the shit that McMillan rolled out there for the past 6 years.

Can I vote twice? Lol.
I can't wait to see Lillrad and LMA together but not having Nate as the coach with a real PG makes me so so so happy.

Excited to see if we have a superstar in Lillard. Much more excited this year than last.

Actually three things you didn't mention:
1. WILL BARTON!
2. Batum's last chance to prove that he's not just a role player
3. England's own JOEL FREELAND!

If I had to pick one of the options you did give, it would be Lillard by a mile. I have NO expectations of Leonard (I predict under 15 mpg, 5ppg, 4rpg), see Stotts as totally an in-betweeny filler coach (he'll need to help a girl sing the National Anthem to last more than a season and a half), don't give a shit about future lotto picks and am more anxious than excited about Aldridge.

Doh! I can't believe I forgot Nic and the other rookies. Sorry folks!

Of the options provided it is #1 in a landslide for me. IF the option of "watching the Lakers fail despite adding Steve Nash and Dwight Howard" was available, I would have had a tougher decision.

Gotta go with the new coach. I am jazzed about all the new guys, but no matter who is on the team, the vision is created by the coach.

Can't possibly pick just one!

LMA becoming the next dirk under Stotts is it for me though

Lillard a close second

For me it is the (according to what has been said and written) the new offensive philosophy that should, IMO, maximize the talents of Lillard and LaMarcus, and others. Yes, I'm excited about those players, and Batum, but if Nate were still in charge -- not so much.

Yeah, we should be allowed 2 votes each! (heh heh)

If my name hadn't been on one option, I'd have voted for Stotts. I always see the team from the top down, a managerial perspective, so I talk about GM and Coach more than players.

Guess you never watched the 2 teams Stotts coached previously.

I'm excited to watch Lillard - and am keeping my fingers crossed that JJ Hickson puts an entire season together resembling what he exhibited last season. If both Lillard and Hickson are for real...we may in for more fun than most think!

I'm as unexcited for this season as I've been since the PatterNash era.

This is going to be a very long painful season. If Lillard or Batum don't show the potential to be all-stars on a good contending team we should definetely consider trading away Aldridge and doing a longer term rebuild. Think of what the Jazz did getting Favors, Kanter, Harris, picks and salary relief for Deron Williams. Or what the Nuggets got with Melo. Now I hope we have a piece to build along with LMA, but if not we may be looking at a minimum 3 or 4 year rebuild. Better to get the most for LA now before he bolts as a free agent or declines as he enters his 30's.
