In a nutshell. I have felt this way from game one. Do not even wast my time on a game when I tune in and see that they have given up on team ball.

Thanks for the feedback. I might suggest that a slightly more positive feedback would have a better result.

They've got the best player on the floor (and maybe in all of basketball?) in Davis. Holliday has been amazing. Playoff Rondo looks like a thing. CJ has been terrible. Damian has been pedestrian. Stotts doesn't really seem like an in-game tactician. The Blazers slumped right at the end, but what we've seen is beyond a simple slump.

Mix all of that together and you get this. I couldn't tell you the proportions though.

He's a terrible defender and only takes a three point shot or any other shot, for that matter, when he's wide wide open. Yep, he's more timid than Batum and that's saying something.

dude it's hard to follow you....you post about 3 times a year...stopped updating your posts of the week....I live for those gems! the jazz forsaked you, the Blazers are in middle school....not one real quality G league thread...I get it...but I miss your humor around here...even if you bailed for the Jazz early on...it's all good...CJ is over paid.. we have a few of those guys on the team...but we're not over paying Crabbe or Batum or Rolo.....there's a silver lining at the end of the yellow brick road cowboy~

I voted style of play, but we don't have good enough players to be as good as our record.

This style will win you games in the regular season. But we need better players around Dame and CJ to be effective in the playoffs, regardless of style of play.

Dame, CJ, Nurk, and Collins (in a couple years) are legit starters. Davis is good enough as a backup. We need upgrades everywhere else to win a title, but especially at the 3. We need a SF who will stick open 3 pointers at 40+% while playing lock down D.

That alone would be enough make this a completely different series.

Playoffs are all about match ups and style of play. New Orleans has a superior defender at guard and two really good rim protectors. Can’t remmeber the team but they did the exact same defense we are seeing now with hard traps to get Dame to give up the ball early and often making him resort to trying to force shots closer to the basket with their two bigs there to alter his shot or force him to kick it out.

We have a great regular season offense but when it comes playoffs our ISO offense struggles
