What about that clip after the Memphis game with the Memphis announcers where says his knee is getting better and he's looking forward to getting back on the court
Yeah, and that too. I was thrilled when we got him. I'm still holding my breath.... Probably the only one around here though. Lol

In this case, no news is bad news.

I also don't think he's a good trading asset. In order to use him as an asset, we have to be willing to take on $$$$. We may be, but I doubt it.

FEEC is probably going the way of RLEC (i.e. we're going to let it expire)

It is not good or great, but it is an asset. Mo Williams was claimed more than once by teams looking to reach the salary floor.

they'll have to improve their play if they want to even make the playoffs. And what good does it do them to save him for 4 games?
The Boston loss is the first shovel of dirt on our coffin.

First of many, I hope.

This season is a lost cause, so continuing it just to get that precious "playoff experience" is dumb. What good did last years playoff experience get them? An inflated ego? Because obviously they didn't gain the knowledge that defense has to be played, and that you have to play with a sense of urgency.

I read that the procedure Ezeli had involving Cadaver tissue can take up to 1 year to heal. If I recall correctly Bengals QB Carson Palmer also had a similar procedure.

Palmer was injured in 2006 but was able to play in the NFL through 2016.

What's his buyout? 1 million?

Yah. He's definitely gone. I'm just surprised he hasn't stuck around to support his team. I mean he was a big cheerleader earlier in the year. Maybe he can't walk. Idk. Whatever.

"His team"? I'm thinking that road trip where CJ shut him up after trying to give motivational speeches in back-to-back games soured him on this being "his team".

Meh, that was probably blown out of proportion by Quick because he was still friendly with the team and CJ shortly after that "incident." He was still around after we got Nurkic, then disappeared around the time of his surgery.

Imagine if we had Ezeli backing up Nurkic. Man, we gotta find someone like that...please!

We have one. Ed Davis.

Have you seen them side by side? I haven't, but going on memory, im pretty sure Ezeli is quite a bit bigger.
Im not sold at all that Ed is a 5 on a contending team. Not big enough. Backup or not.

How soon we forget how good Ed was last year. He got talk for 6MoY last season. As a 15-20 mpg big man off the bench, he's awesome when healthy.

Ezeli could guard most centers one on one. Davis strength is more as a help defender. Davis is overmatched physically against most centers. He's really more of a PF.

I think it was in part because he came out of no where. And how good was he really? I think his last years game was overrated.

6.5 points and 7.4 rebounds in 20.8 minutes. That is not bad at all, but not great like some people seem to portray or think.
The year before he averaged 8.3 and 7.6 in 79 games averaging 23.3 PPG.

Nothing in those two full season stands out as something I would say see? We need him as a backup C.
However. His contract might strap us into making him our main backup Big. for the money he is great. For the league and stats, mediocre at best.
