So Zags, seeing this thread inspired me to do some cooking last night. I never cook, the woman does. My mothers side of the family had all the old timers create a cook book of the family recipes. Any type of homemade Mexican food you could imagine.

I cooked a real meal for the family for the first time ever last night!!

Made enchilada style shreaded chicken in the crockpot , home made rice. I killed it!!! #ChefHCP

Serious question, did you make the tortilla yourself, or is that not a tortilla I am seeing?

Nah..... tortillas are too hard to make. My grandma and mom make fresh ones though.
