Wheels has been teasing this for the past day or so. Apparently Brandon wants the Blazers to bring in a certain backup power forward into the fold.

Any guesses on who?

BRoy made this comment right after the Houston series, so I have a feeling he's talking about either Landry or Hayes.

Has he said whether this player is a free agent, or whether it would have to be a trade?

I don't think so, but i just started listening

Kurt Thomas. Antonio McDyess.

Does it seem like he'll say who it is, or are people just guessing fo rthe sake of guessing?

He's going to say. Someone texted the right answer, but he wants a caller to get it right. It's a western conference player who's not a present Blazer, and was a starter for a good part of the season now, and was a backup-PF on the team he was on before.

I started a Turiaf thread earlier this summer. He was my #1 target.

Turiaf only makes $4 mil per through 2011-12. I wouldn't mind getting him for our backup despite him being best buds with Kobe at one time.

i guessed udonis haslem right when wheels said someone texted it. he didnt say haslem so i thought i got it, i was about to call but they said western conference.

Would be a great addition, IMO. Can play PF or C. Real physical. Added bonus is, he's French, giving Batum someone to converse in his native language with.

I've been thinking Turiaf for awhile now. I'm almost wondering if a straight swap of Travis for Ronny would get Golden State interested? Travis wouldn't have to play any defense and he'd probably have a green light to be a gunner.

Travis for Ronny. Straight up.

Get it done.

I wonder what Brandon would think about that. The team tells him you want Turiaf, but the only way to get him straight up would be trading Travis.

Brandon wants to win before he wants to play with his best friends, woudl be my guess.

Difficulty is, GS tradign Outlaw for Turif gives them even more glut of SF types, and takes away really their only tough player down low.

Before someone said Ronny was the answer, I might've thought Kirilenko.

I've been squarely on the RT wagon since he was at Gonzaga. He's the one L*ker I rooted for.
