Wheels call on the Bayless 3... here ya go. Nice job by wheels

"That's how I roll . . . "

Hah. Nice line.

I wondered what he said. I figured Gentry must have said something to the effect of "Give me a break" (thinking what business does Bayless have knocking down a 3) and then Bayless fired back something and Gentry had an uneasy smirk on his face.

'That's how I roll"??? Nice J.B.

I really hope he actually said that. That line is so old hahaha

I have been waiting so long for the team to have somebody who plays with attitude again. It was completely awesome to see him talking junk to the Phoenix bench, particularly Alvin Gentry, who was obviously talking shit to him.

The next time down the court, there was a foul and JB was standing next to Gentry. They were both kinda talkin smack and Gentry smacked Bayless' ass! They were both laughing!

I'm guessing they know each other from Arizona.

That line is so old? Did you run out of things to complain about?

Two words I never thought I'd type together: Repped, MIXUM.

Nice to finally see some fuckin' swagger on this team. I love B-Roy, but fuck, dude is boooo-rrriing. Somebody needs to provide that swagga.

Funny thing is.... a VERY solid performance like this puts J-Bay on the map. Tearing up the court. He looked good on his scoring opportunities, and he looked good creating for others. How does the guy he was traded for get on the map nationally? He slows, holds the ball up top, and ties his shoe. What the fuck would you rather be known for?

Yeah. That's how I ROLL!

Killer!

I think the last time I was as pumped as last night was the Rudy/Ariza game where we just hammered the Lakers. It wasn't just the 16 points Bayless put down in the 4th, it was the way he did it. He was all over the place taking charges, skying for rebounds, and was playing with more scrap and fire than any Blazer I've seen since . . . I dunno, Ruben Patterson? It's been a while - and it's just what this team needed. A shot of confidence and attitude.

Not to mention we may have found a 3rd scorer behind LA and Roy, and another playmaker to keep defenses from throwing the kitchen sink at Brandon in the 4th.

I'm not one to get too excited about a win (or a loss) But last night COULD turn this season around. I know, I know . . . JB could go 2-11 with 5 t/o's at Orlando. In fact I'm sure he will have plenty of games like that. I'm just saying there is hope. And I can now see how this team can win. Frankly, I couldn't see them finishing much better than .500 before Tuesday. I was thinking it was '07-08 all over again (win 2/3 at home and lose 2/3 on the road)

What was that LA said to some of the Houston players during his rookie year? Something like take that, bia..

Asked him today what Gentry said and he said they were just messin with each other. He said his dad and Gentry are old golfing buddies.

Wasn't that "B*tch" comment directed toward Ricky "The Roach" Davis when he was with the Timberwolves?

Yep, when he nailed those two crunch-time FT's. Awesome moment. I said to my fiancee, "That kid's gonna be all right." :D

LoL at Ricky Davis. Loved that guy man... he was funny as shit.

Somebody here has an epic quote from Ricky in his sig, where he said "I thought LeBron was just going to be another addition to help me score".

Gotta love him. And JBay! Now that Oden is out, Bayless is probably my favorite player on the team (With Nic, but he is out too). So I get excited when he does well. Man, if he can develop into that star lots of us think he can be, how perfect for the Blazers, with Nic developing as well (and Gregory of course).

Go Blazers!

Impressive. I was surprised that the Blazers threw the ball in to Bayless on that Out of bounds play. It wasn't like it was a broken play that was supposed to go to Roy, it was obviously designed for Bayless. He was the guy that ran back towards the Miller (who was throwing the inbound pass) Mark Jackson said "How can Phoenix just let Jarryd Bayless flash towards the ball w/o trying to deny?" I think Pheonix was in shock - I know I was. Jarryd had a terrific game and 4th quarter, but everything can change when the games on the line at the FT line. I think everybody thought they would go to Roy like we always do.

Bayless didn't even look nervous! It was like he had been there 100 times. How does Nate go from not trusting this guy enough to play more than 10 minutes to drawing up plays to put him on the line to win (or maybe lose) the game?
