....who will start and what will be the breakdown of minutes? One thing is for sure- we'll have the most defense/rebound size in the league and that should scare the shit out of the Lakers who won the title last year because they had a size advantage over every team they faced. So.... Who starts, who relieves him, and who gets spot minutes?

I would think that Camby would get some quality power forward minutes while also working a three man rotation at center. When healthy, we have some serious size advantages. The only question is whether that'll ever happen.

I'd go with a three man rotation for the front court. Oden and Aldridge start and Camby backs up both power forward and center, giving him plenty of minutes.

If everyone's healthy, that means Portland has two excellent big men on the floor every minute. That's a huge edge.

Edit: Missed Przybilla in that question. Oops. I still want to see how well he plays coming back from his dual injuries last year before I know how many minutes he should get.

PF: Aldridge - 36, Camby 12
C: Oden - 28, Przybilla - 16, Camby - 4

If Aldridge is injured, Camby starts and Cunningham backs up at PF.
If Camby is injured, Przybilla takes his minutes at center and Cunningham takes them at PF.
If Oden is Injured, Camby and Przybilla split time at center, Cunningham backs up PF.
If Przybilla is injured, Camby takes his minutes at center and Cunningham plays spot minutes at PF.

Not sure at the start of the season but before the season ends it's safe to say it will be Physical Therapists, MRI Imaging Technicians and Orthopedic Surgeons.

When that day arrives, we will have the best defensive front line in the NBA!

I would start Przy at C, Oden at PF, Camby at SF, Aldridge at SG, and Batum at PG.

No thanks. Batum would get pushed around.

And Aldridge isn't tough enough to handle off-guard (also known as power guard).

The sky will turn gold and the leaves to silver. All God's children will come home. The sheep will lead and the shephard will obey.

You just wait, it will happen. I'm out of here to buy a hot dog.

The NBA is evolving and against a lot of teams having one of those three trying to guard a PF who stands out at the 3 pt line will not work. Batum and Dante can guard those guys. Dirk will be a problem regardless, but it will be nice to have those 3 bigs.

... we should all go buy lotto tickets?

all those 3 healthy for more then 2 weeks = never gonna happen

Pigs will fly.

Mixum will have a positive outlook.

MM will think Nate is a good coach.

I could think of a few more...

I'm almost certain there will come a point when Camby, Przy and Oden are all healthy at the same time ...

Now will they still be playing in the NBA? I can't say for sure.

I expect this healthy day will happen soon enough and crow will be served via a bump... lots of posters look like they're reserving themselves a plate

if/when it does, Portland will possess an absolutely dominant defensive and rebounding front court. Given relative health throughout the roster, I'd expect the club to be winning decidedly and often. Greg and LA should garner starter minutes, Camby Joel and Dante should be between 20-10 MPG. If their health holds, Joel will be a tremendous chip around the trade deadline

Me: I saw an opportunity for a snarky comment and I took it...

Viper: You took it, and broke a major rule of engagement. Then you broke another one with that circus stunt fly-by.

Me: Penny Benjamin?

NateBishop: And you, asshole, are lucky just to be here!

Next thing you know, Brian is going to be leaving for truck driving school.
