When do they announce awards?

They roll them out throughout the first round and MVP is announced at the start of the second round.
 
Isnt it usually right after the first or second round? I seem to remember going into the conference games with everyone saying awards have been announced in years past? Im pretty sure its at least after the first round. Im anxious to know too.

I wouldnt be suprised ( but a little upset) to see no one from the Blazers win anything, but get the unmemorable runner up in many categories...COTY, GMOTY, MIP, 6THMOY...etc....
 
GMOTY is the most deserving IMO, you could say Buford but I credit Pops for bringing in LMA.
 
I think MIP is a lock for CJ and GMOTY is Neil's to lose. I don't think they'll give Stotts the COTY but he'll be in the top 3

I think Jamal Crawford is a very fair choice. They got it right. They pretty much didnt have their 2nd best player all season and still stayed in the top 4 without a huge drop off. Crawford is nice. They got it right

No I'm saying you guys are harping on Crawford winning and describe him the way ya do but with Dame its whatever.. I think what makes Lillard so good is what makes Crawford good as well

You hate that Lillard chucks but love that Crawford does it. Aren't you also harping on Lillard for what you like about Crawford? How ironic.

Yeah, I think someone had Iguadala as the 6MOY.... which makes no sense. His stats are sub-par. It's like they just want to gift every single award to the Warriors because of their wins.
