I think the Trust will wait till the new TV contract is done, reassess the value, then sell to the highest bidder. Plus there is a very good chance the NBA expands with the new contract, which will bring more money to the franchise. All about those Benjamin's.
There is absolutely no way you can say that with certainty. We don't even know about other offers potentially already on the table. The items you mentioned are already factored in increasing the price of the franchise today.
Be hard to sell a golden goose......I wonder if there was a time stipulation from Paul?If Jody/Allen trust keeps the expansion fee that will lower the franchise value. Conversely if they sell with that fee going to the buyer that will raise the franchise value. So its more of a wash to the Allen trust. The TV revenue wouldn't go to the Allen trust if they sold the team at the start of the contract; the revenue would be each year over the next ~10 years to the new owner.
If they want to sell ASAP; there is really no financial reason to delay the sale besides pure speculation. The items you mentioned are already factored in increasing the price of the franchise today. So Allen can sell now and get those benefits.
The Allen trust could wait for any of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 years from now to potentially increase the value they receive from the sale. Maybe the team will be worth $10+ billion if they wait enough years. Every 2-3 years there will be new reasons of why the franchise will go up in value, so if you held out for the highest price in this manor the team would never be sold.

Impacts slightly. Does not expeditehttps://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...ent-sale-walton-penner-family-ownership-group
Does this impact the price of our club or expedite the sale?

About five years ago. When would you like to see this completed?
Rumor PartyIs there any actual information or still a rumor party?

I'd say Woj reporting and quotes from Adam Silver is actual information. Is there any actual information or still a rumor party?
Best would have been right before Soapy signed Evan Turner and matched the Nets ridiculous Crabbe offer. The decision making at that juncture made it completely clear that management had no idea how to build a team around Dame. If Knight takes over I'm sure he'll put together a front office composed of the best and brightest committed to whats best for building a contender instead of knee jerk reactions each offseason to goose season ticket holders into renewing their season tickets.About five years ago.

That was when I lost hope and largely vanished from this forum as I didn't want to be ruminating on & sharing my despondent view daily. Firing Soapy brought back a flicker of hope that someday maybe they could compete again. Having revealed that some probably want to hire him back lol...I should just make this post the message in my moniker.

maybe the worst thing that ever happened in the Dame era, other than Olshey, is Blake Griffin and Chris Paul getting injured in the 2016 playoffs allowing the Blazers a series win. That feel-good mirage led directly to the 2016 idiocy when olshey gave out 340M in contracts to 6 players and not an all-star in the group. In fact, only one legitimate starter. Portland STILL has 2 more years of Andrew Nicholson staining the salary cap
how would you know, you didn't join the forum until 2019--unless of course you actually are one of the former banned accounts you have repeatedly claimed not to be...This forum was pumped about that series win too. If I remember correctly there was somebody here always saying to tank that year hmmmm
