How did this do nothing kid from Hawaii get the coin to finance Columbia University, Harvard Law School? Travel heather and yawn?

He funded law school by trading derivatives. You laugh but it's in his autobiography. He was some low level research analyst on derivatives at an investment management group IIRC before he moved to Chicago to become a community organizer.

Well yes I would like an answer. I didn't invent the phase though, I saw a video where he called himself a xxx smokin kid from Hawaii. Can't remember whether it was dope, rope or weed. Probably not rope since that is a Navy slang.

I don't know the answer, that's why I didn't answer, snarky or otherwise.

But I did enjoy my ISS facing Mecca reply. But I'd classify that more as humor than snark.
