Why no airstrikes to support Occupy Wall Street?

There's no discernible difference between it and the so-called Arab Spring movement which both organizations have not only rubber stamped but have given military support to, killing tens of thousands of troops and civilians and aiding in the murder of world leaders.

Bank-owned, that's why.

Because thousands of people died in the Syrian protests. Your comparison is outrageous.

I guess that means if OWS protesters end up getting hurt or killed by cops/military THEN you would fully support NATO strikes on Washington DC and the overthrow of our government?

Your comparison is outrageous.

No, it's spot on.

I've seen this movie before. Sorry if I spoiled the ending for you.

Yep that's right, if the Police kill protestors I'll join your little movement. Until then I could not care less about criminals polluting the streets and breaking the law.

One ex-Marine — a combat veteran — took a rubber round in the head. He is in critical condition and may die. That was not a mistake; that was aimed fire and an intentional assassination. Sorry folks, that’s facts – from 50′ you don’t “miss” and hit someone in the head with these things if you’re shooting for the legs or other non-vital parts. He was shot in the head by someone who aimed for the head. Those projectiles arenot “non-lethal” and the bomb thrown by a cop at the people trying to come to his assistance after he fell wasn’t tossed accidentally either.

I think that it would be better to have other citizens go out and drive the people away... they're costing cities a LOT of money for no good cause.

If and when authorities crack down I will have no problem with it. The OWS individuals are often instigators who are interested in seeing the system fall so something new can rise in its place... and I like the system as it is, so I'd rather have them go down than the system.

then go out and drive them away, what are you waiting for?

I've been working, rather than protesting and draining resources from a society that is paid for by people that do.

In the California demonstrations of the late 60s and early 70s, police killed a few demonstrators every year. I read the news when I lived there. One college moderate who was a negotiator between liberals and conservatives was picked off by a rooftop police sniper and killed in a demonstration.

Another one I remember was the only black columnist in the LA Times. He was standing recessed in a bar doorway watching a black demonstration as a reporter. A police bazooka killed him from a far distance. No one else in the demonstration was shot. Pretty coincidental that the leading black reporter in Los Angeles was taken out. In a terrified police state, no one dared ask questions, not even the Times. It was reported matter of factly and quickly forgotten.

Like most wealthy Americans, he wants the government to do his bidding for him.

He's too busy counting his money.

I want the police to catch murderers and to write traffic tickets. I want the government to collect taxes to pay for the Coast Guard. I want my city to collect taxes and create parks and keep them clean.

I similarly want to have, in spite of my post previously, the government keep protesters under control and not have them disrupt the lives of everyone else. Union members already act a bit too much like brownshirts for my taste; I don't want to see that aspect of things aggravated.

this makes no sense, i didnt tell you to go protest, i told you to go drive them away, like you suggested... you are a citizen, no?

or maybe its "too busy to do anything about it, but just enough time to whine about it on the internet"

It makes perfect sense. I am busy working. As opposed to those out protesting, which is costing cities around the country money (that they often don't have) to police them.

No policing is required.

People are merely assembling and talking.

Only a traitor to America would consider police presence/action necessary or order police involvement.

where were you even going with this... take the day off work to counter protest? challenge them to a fight? :biglaugh:
