With Lebron to Cleveland and Pau (along with a healthy[?] Rose) to Chicago, the Central division just got a whole lot stronger. Are they the best trio of teams in any division? How would you rank the league's divisions in terms of their three best teams?

Tough to pick a top 3 out of the Southwest--after the Spurs, I could project them in any order.

SW

Mavs are taking a step up this year, and Grizz with a healthy Gasol are legit. Then there are the immortal Spurs, who's franchise was recently used in a comparison with the World Cup Champions Germany.

Jazz will be better than the nuggets this year.

Possible. Utah has basically added Exum and nobody else to last year's roster; Denver has added Afflalo. I don't see Utah improving by 12 more wins than Denver will.

Utah is the younger team with more room for improvement over the summer. If you look at the rosters they are comparable, but I feel like the Nuggets have a lot of over achievers. I think it is definitely a fight for the 1&2 between us and OKC, with Utah and Denver on the other side of the fence fighting for 3/4

Portland will be the best team in the world. Who gives a shit about anyone else?!

Denver adds Afflalo, McGee, and Gallinari. Also missed Robinson and Hickson for significant stretches last season.

For the Central, Indiana, obviously (certainly not Milwaukee or Detroit!). I projected the top three teams in each of the six divisions, but you'd need to view the thread on a computer rather than on your baller ass iPhone to see the poll.

Like most of you, I voted for the Pacers, Cavs & Bulls. Based on combined strength, I think they're clearly the best. That said, I don't think any of them would beat the top teams from the 3 Western divisions in a 7 game series.
