Which former Blazer(s) is the most forgotten?

Of the good players, I mean.

To me the player that is not discussed a lot is Jim Paxson.

He was a good player for Portland, but I'm not sure how much he gets mentioned/referenced by the fans or team.

Probably because he played for us during a "no man's land" point in franchise history. After the '77 championship team and before the Clyde/Porter/Kersey years.

I was saying that people remember Cliff more. Like the 2nd post said, Jim played in a forgotten era.

It wasn't that the thread had to be limited to Jim, I was just saying how I didn't think those were good examples.

Someone like Kelvin Ransey, or Steve Colter (ok, he wasn't actually good), or something like that.

Another thing would be maybe "Forgot they played on the Blazers".

Jim Paxson moved without the ball as well or better than anyone in the NBA, and not just because of sharp cuts and constant motion. Wesley's instinctive minute positional adjustments on offense while reacting to defensive flow remind me of one of my favorite parts of Jim's game. He was all about maintaining the optimal passing angles between himself and the ball handler...
