How about Aaron Mckie? He was a decent SG after the Drexler era. Why didn't we re-sign him?

Or Robert Pack.. Man the mid-90's was full of guys who looked potentially awesome but never panned out.

Oh, yeah! How could I forget the Pack-man? He was quite the leaper.

Ronnie Murphy...

Kidding. But Kiki perhaps. With Mychal Thompson as an honorable mention.

Hollywood Robinson had his hay day for a couple years here.

Or... is it that we were more willing to believe in their potential awesomeness then, and are less willing to believe in the prospects of today?

Have we lost our innocence? Are we really just tired, worn-out prostitutes looking for the next fix?

Did those times mean anything at all?

Would the first girl you kissed even recognize you now? Would she even remember that night?

Are our best days not only behind us, but lost forever in the fog of time?

Is this how it all ends? Shouldn't there have been something more?

Kenny Anderson was only here a year and half, and he wasn't a world shaker, but he had a lot of good moments.
I have a little figurine of Kenny Anderson - the only figurine I own, that was a present. Funny thing, they didn't even bother to make him left handed. Plus, he wears #7 and since that time we've had a slightly more impactful #7.

I'm not old enough to be in this thread.

Although just one season I believe, Lenny Wilkens should be on the list

Gary Trent. He looked to be the next good PF for us, but was such a knucklehead we got rid of him. He had some real potential.

Some of us never forgot (see avatar). There were times on the court where he was just a beast and got into amazing stretches were he was destroying in the post. Total knucklehead with wasted potential.

Hands down...Geoff Petrie. Most have no idea what that name even means! He was my first basketball hero and I got to attend his 51 point game against the Rockets back in the day. An amazing shooter.

peace out,

Imagine how many he'd have scored if they'd had the three point shot!

Geoff Petrie.
Yep, I agree. He was the best shooter I ever saw play the game. I can't quite get over this new kid we have though! Perhaps Leonard has a chance to replace Petrie in my mind as The Shooter.

I'm pretty sure it's what's-his-name, you know, that guy who used to play for the Blazers...
