Out of all the players, which player do you see stepping up the most?

I think Kaman will be the player that will get the starting nod, so I suspect he will give us the best production.

What are your thoughts?

I think they will start Freeland as he is more Robin like with the 1st unit. Then I'm not sure between Robinson and Leonard as the backup PF. Normally I would say Thomas but he's really been in the dog house.

I voted Aldridge.

I think they'll start Freeland to keep the bench unit intact, and I think Aldridge will step up his game even more, rebounding primarily, to help us while he is out.

I voted Joel. But I expect every starter to step up and make an impact. They were winning but not playing very well before. Now they all have to pick it up and play better from the opening tip.

Joel in a starting role is probably not going to end all that well. Mostly I expect that Aldridge's mintues will probably climb a little bit, Kaman will play quite a bit more and we hope to god that that Leonar_, Freeland and maybe T-Rob can contribute.

Going a little unconventional here, but I see Stotts sliding Nic up to backup 4 and as a big to close out games by going small. He has shown he can rebound really well in Aldridge's absence last year --- see a similar thing happening this year.

Freeland will start. If he starts getting even a hint of respect from the refs (which he hasn't gotten so far), I think we could be just fine as long as Kaman can handle an increase in PT, too...

So he's going to average 40 and 20 then. Awesome! :)

I have to think that Kaman is going to make the big impact. He is a starting quality center, while Freeland is not. It has been a luxury to have him off the bench, but he has shown that he can compete with starters. Joel will be fine off the bench..although I hate to brake up the bench rotation, I believe that they have all played in so many combos that we will be fine.

Thing is, Kaman would have to change his playing style to fit with the starters, and Freeland isn't good enough offensively to replace Kaman in the second unit. Freeland plays every bit as tough (although not as good) on defense as Robin.

Yeah, Wook, you have a valid point, and it may well play out as most have foreseen. I do think that Kaman has shown that he can play with the starters though. Dude is a crafty vet that still can bring it. It will fun to see what

I could play center for 5-7mins a game. Send Claver back to Spain, I'll take his spot and fuck some shit up!

Whoever Meyers is guarding.

I'm going with Aldridge all the way to the bank. He's going to get a ton of rebounds and blocks. Lamarcus is going to dominate!
