The ' 81 and '84 Raiders. #LongDrought

Niners!
Been a Niners fan since my very first NFL game in 1972. John Brodie was the QB. Gene Washington, Forrest Blue, Ted Kwalick
Ever tell you my Brodie story?...
(dont forget Ken Willard, Dick Witcher, Cedric Hardman, Old Man Charlie Kruger, ROokie of the year Bruce Taylor.... ...i can name all 50...)
That team...and John Brodie....
I hope sometime today there is a story on John Brodie.
When he retired in 1974(?) he was the 3rd leading passer in history, the 1970 NFL MVP and not in the Hall of Fame....
Disgraceful.

He is usually at the big games. He gets the camera every once in a while.
One other note. He is #25 on the "Not in but should be" list for the HOF.

I believe he had a massive stroke years back and not doing very well...
#25??
Disgraceful.

Go Chiefs. They haven't won a championship in 50 years and have only won that one. Reminds me of a certain team. Plus Reid and Mahomes deserve to get one.

I'm for the Chiefs. They have not tasted super bowl victory in 50 Years. We lost to them 31-28 third game of the 2019 season. Have deep respect for Andy Reid and their players.

I don't support any, ever, because I'm a Chargers fan.

How about the story about Bob St. Clair. He ate dove hearts in front of a rookie which freaked him out, who told his mother about the cannibals' on the 49' ers.

Philip Rivers is now gone. Perhaps he'll get a back up gig like Joe Flacco. Doesn't he have 5 kids?

Here's a tid bit of trivia about the Chiefs -
My friend's brother was drafted out of Arizona State as a running back in the first round decades ago. He hadn't played long for them when at the bottom of a pileup with him on the bottom someone grabbed his foot and twisted hard. He never played again although he got calls from John Madden, Bud Grant and George Allen to play for them when he recovered.

Edit
Oh, you want his name.

Could a mod please fix the typo in header?

Hey fams, sorry I haven't been on the forum lately. I let this season go a couple months ago when it was clear that we weren't that good. My life is stressful enough without having to pull more of my hair out watching this dumpster fire, and my new year got off to a VERY bad start; everything from a dead cat to car trouble and a nasty virus. So I'm afraid I haven't been around much....but you can bet your asses I'm still a fan for life.

In regards to my football team, I'm a 4th Generation 49er Faithful, going all the way back to my great-grandfather. 49er Fandom is in my blood; I'm a member of two different 49er Clubs in Portland, and my father held season tickets to Candlestick for 12 years (he was in that End Zone when Clark caught "The Catch"). I was blessed enough to see the last Rams game at the Stick in 2013 before it closed.

Not sure how you blow a 10 point lead, but that's Kyle Shanahan for you. I thought he learned from his first Superbowl fuck up, but apparently not.
