Politics White Nationalist Rally turns to violence and terrorism

Why'd that douchebag asshole's McDonald's thing get deleted?

People need to see shit like that to believe how lost we are.

How about some happy news.

Shonda Rhimes is leaving ABC for Netflix.

She is one of the top two or three producers in Hollywood, IMO. She developed the series Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, How to Get Away with Murder, and probably a couple I can't name off the top of my head. She's living proof that skin color doesn't matter about anything that counts.

The other two would be JJ Abrams and whoever it is at Marvel that is producing hit after hit.

The driver, Fields is not even being charged with premeditated murder. The current charges are second degree murder. The authorities must know something to hold the back on the charge.

If it isn't premeditated, it sure as heck can't be political.
What do we have here?
A twenty year old, who until recently had been living with his disabled mother.
No father.

It seems we see a lot a bad stuff from this "group" and it isn't political.

After the "DOJ Investigation" they will likely charge him with some sort of civil rights violation or something under terrorism and seek the death penalty.

From MarAzul's link:

A photographer said he saw Mr. Fields on Saturday with symbols of Vanguard America, a group whose manifesto declares that “a government based in the natural law must not cater to the false notion of equality.” The organization denied any ties to Mr. Fields.
It's odd that this terrorist organization isn't taking credit for this "act of terrorism."

Alex Jones already told us it was a false flag operation, so this is not news. Try to keep up.

Sessions saying Fields' action qualifies as "domestic terrorism"

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/14/us/politics/domestic-terrorism-sessions.html

The “domestic terrorism” language is largely symbolic — many of the law's stiffest penalties are for international terrorism that do not apply domestically. But the debate over language has raged for more than a decade, as Muslim groups in particular argue that the word terrorism is used only when the attackers are Muslim.

By declaring the attack to be domestic terrorism, Mr. Sessions is moving quickly to quell a debate that swirled after the 2015 shooting of a historically black church in South Carolina. Dylann S. Roof, a South Carolina man who had once worn white supremacist patches, killed nine people in that attack. Loretta E. Lynch, the attorney general at the time, declared hate crimes “the original domestic terrorism.” But some civil rights groups wanted her to go farther.

Under federal law that was expanded after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, a violation of federal or state criminal law qualifies as domestic terrorism if it appears to be intended to coerce or intimidate a civilian population or to coerce the policy of the government. But domestic terrorism carries no additional penalties. Investigators rely on charges like murder and assault in prosecuting these crimes.

The Justice Department announced over the weekend that it was opening a civil rights investigation into the Charlottesville incident.

Yep. I read the article and knew you were going to post this part. However, even Sessions isn't afraid to say this is a terrorist act (even if the legal significance is largely symbolic). But you keep on trying to protect Mr. Fields' rights to plow into a group of people and not be unfairly called a terrorist.

If Jeff Sessions says it's terrorism, it means he's right?

The police are charging him with 2nd degree murder, consistent with road rage.

Sessions is going to make it into much more, and rightly so.

Are you terrorized, coerced, etc? If not, think about why he's a terrorist some more.

You guys are gonna be so pissed when he gets an insanity defense. And wins it.

Actually I won't be mad at all.
I personally think the death penalty is outdated and has no place in society.
I would argue that killing him makes him a martyr.
'Our brother championed our political beliefs and was killed for it. Free speech doesn't exist for us'.

I bet some are.
I know some people who used the max as their main form of transportation who've yet to set foot on it again since the terrorist attack out of fear.
I think that's letting terrorists win, but I can't fault them for their fear.

Outdated? If anything it is better used in this day and age when we have cameras everywhere and DNA.

At least you're consistent here, I doubt that will be the majority opinion.

Rather than be "coerced," people sought out conflict with these awful people.

I knew a girl who would not wear a seatbelt because her friend drowned in a creek upside down in a Jeep that rolled over.

If you don't feel you can defend yourself on public transportation and you don't wanna ride it I can't blame you.

Oh I know it's not the majority opinion.
I just think killing someone because they killed someone is extremely misguided.
There are worse things you can do than kill someone. For example the outing on twitter of the people who marched with tiki torches causing people to lose their source of income.

I forgot to add to my previous post about Sessions...

Sessions is the very guy I don't want labeling people terrorists or whatever.

Rather than be "coerced," people sought out conflict with these awful people.

The protesters and counter-protesters who both were seeking conflict are not people you have to worry about limiting themselves out of fear.

The death penalty is simply that. Penalty. We uphold the (most important ones) law by penalizing those who break it. It doesn't have to deter the next person. It just has to be the penalty applied because that is what justice is.

See anything about that hot dog restaurant kid yet? I'm really genuinely curious about him and what the fuck he was doing there.

The older mouth breathers with Hitler quote shirts and tight jeans I get.

I don't think people in Oakland are affected by what 1500 asswipes do on the east coast.

I'm actually surprised by one thing though.

The couple alt-right posters on this board haven't attempted to link Democrats nor Democratic socialists to the Nazi symbols and language seen/heard at this political protest.
As I've seen it attempted by family on my facebook page ~

I can't say I didn't expect this sort of response from an internet tough-guy like you.
Do I need to explain everything I say for you?

I've never owned a gun, shot one three times in my life. Not afraid of anyone. There.

Now, that being said it has nothing to do with what I was talking about.

BEFORE that max shit happened I wouldn't recommend someone that can't defend themselves ride that shit alone. I know there are crazy people on it. I used to walk around downtown Portland with my friends and just seeing the homeless people want to fight each other was freaky.

If there isn't security in every train I wouldn't let my wife ride the fucking thing before this happened. I won't let my wife ride with her co-workers in their cars. They talk on the phone and babble with passengers and tail gate. My wife knows how to drive defensively because I taught her.

The odds of another attack are impossible to determine. If THAT is all that your friends are worried about they're being ridiculous.

I mentioned my friend who wouldn't wear her seatbelt because she too had an irrational fear of something. Something that is very unlikely to happen.

Oh, and if I intended to ride Max constantly I'd get a concealed weapons permit if that is allowed there. Here I'd just open carry.

I disagree with killing someone because they killed someone justice.
But that is similar to what is said in the central religious texts of Islam.
I just firmly disagree with it and never will agree with it.

^
Please don't use the insert proper term here. To describe someone whos never dealt with murdered family/friends.
As I'll have to bring up the guy in Portland who defended himself against three white terrorists challenging his freedom of speech.

See anything about that hot dog restaurant kid yet? I'm really genuinely curious about him and what the fuck he was doing there.

I actually haven't. Had a real busy weekend.
Mothers car has a hose leaking, and she thinks the tranny is going. We'll see if I can duplicate the description she gave of the issue with the tranny.
