White people vs black people

No, he just doesn't have a serious bone in his body. There is no use trying to convey your views without him trying to shut it down for jokes or to sound tough.And he is basically saying I am "blaming the white folk like all of the other blacks," but who else put blacks in slavery in this country? I'm not blaming white people today for what their ancestors did, but why would I not blame their ancestors for some of the ills and underdevelopment in the black community today?

I never claimed that you couldn't. That wasn't the topic though. The topic is black fatherhood. I'm not sure how fatherhood is in Africa, but I'm sure it's not going great there either.As far as being serious goes, I was being serious. gentile asked me a stupid question, and he got a response saying that the question was stupid. Why the hell would I say that white people are the parents of black people? That doesn't make any goddamn sense. See, usually when people say something, I try to interpret it in the most sensible manner rather than the least sensible manner. I guess I can't expect everyone else to think intelligently, but you know, whatever.
