Me?? Conservative? Well, about some things. But I tend to agree with the lefties about the environment and foreign affairs (except appeasement).

Conservative? I support legalizing weed, I'm pro-choice, I'm pro-gay marriage, and I haven't participated in the "Racist Joke Thread" because I don't find racist jokes funny. I also can't stand government banning things, regardless of which party originates the latest ban.

Although, since this is Oregon, being anti-public union/anti-socialist probably makes me one of the more 'conservative' posters here, by comparison to the flock of far-left libs running around this boards.

First I'm called a Republican, then I'm called a Conservative. I think I've made enough posts to make my positions pretty clear. I guess people will just believe what they wish, rather than observe the facts.

You can tell that this poll was created by a liberal.

It's emotional in nature, incomplete in analysis and choices given, and not very well planned to the point giving the impression that the person who created it was winging it.

It reminds me of the Obama presidency thus far. :)

Any poll about conservatives that doesn't have Shooter at the top of every ballot makes me question the wisdom of the OT posters on this board.

I meant for votes cast so far. As in Shooter is the only 100% conservative I've seen on this board or BBF, so everybody should be voting for him first and foremost.

Pretty much. The Republican party has become very blurred in the last couple decades. I would probably find myself siding with the Democratic Republicans of Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. Less government, period, and under that distinction I don't think the government would get involved in gay marriage, abortion, or banning things like weed. Hell, those guys definitely hit the blunt from time to time.
 
FWIW

I haven't voted for a republican, for any office, since 1984 (Reagan), though I have voted for a few democrats (Harry Reid being one, Jerry Brown being another).

I dunno. Shooter has been awfully quiet the last couple of years. I think activity matters in this poll.

Shooter's like Tim Duncan. He is certainly a future hall-of-famer, but he may not be a good choice to be a current all-star.
