The Blazers play better being the underdogs. I want nothing but tough opponents throughout the playoffs.
Yeah, they've been going with that mindset.

I think we can beat anyone, but I really think we match up well with San Antonio.
With that said, we seem to be exercising demons so maybe we should play Dallas? It's too bad Phoenix isn't in the playoffs because we could go for the trifecta!
Yeah, they've been going with that mindset.
I'm not saying we win the series against sas, I just want the best the NBA got. This is house money and I want nothing but great playoff experience for this team. I'm thinking of the future.
And who knows, maybe we will beat them? It's not like we don't have the talent to
I guess you missed the part where I clearly said put Matthews or Batum on Leonard.
Idk how you come back with Leonard posting Lillard assuming you read my entire post.
I think people are afraid of the Spurs' legend and not the actual team.
as I said in previous posts.. Unless the spurs force small ball green most likely won't be out there late in games. therefore Lillard would HAVE to be on parker because the spurs aren't the rockets and would force Lillard to play post defense against Leonard. this isn't too difficult to figure out.
Unless you'd rather have Lillard on Ginobli.
Now as I said before..! If the spurs can force small ball. Then the Blazers must play Mo. Which means he'll be on green/patty/belinelli. and Lillard will be on parker because he is the better defender. Well Unless you prefer Mo on parker? or Mo on Ginobli? or perhaps Mo on Leonard? Stuff isn't too hard to figure out. Spurs have a great coach. Playoffs are about matchups. Spurs will take advantage of the Blazers poor perimeter defense. Or they'll take advantage of the "mouse in the house"
This isn't Kevin McHale or Nate McMillian. This is Greg Popovich. Best coach in the NBA.
Idk how you come back with me missing things when I just repeated what I've said in previous posts.
Good call there buddy> Yes,they really did push us (Spurs) to a game 7, and yes they really forced us to expose ourselves in game 7. But they aren't the first.
Its going to be a great 2nd round series. Dallas is good and they played their hearts out, but personally i worry about you guys a little more. I HATE playing underrated teams, with no legions of gushing fans around the world to inspire overconfidence, making them think they've won the whole thing before the playoffs even start. And no super stars to make them vulnerable trying to make the highlight videos when they should be just trying to make the shot. I don't think I heard a single sportscaster seriously mention the Blazers as a possible NBA champ all year and STILL haven't. As good as your blazers are, thats a real plus for your side. because I can see them there - only in my nightmares, mind you, but if the spurs can't get the job done then the blazers are hands down my second choice. I've been rooting for them every since you showed yourselves to be the classiest city in the NBA, when after the memorial day miracle win back in 1999 you placed a full page add in our paper congratulating us on the victory and wishing us well in our pursuit of the championship. CLASSY ? Jesus, You slam dunked the title for the classiest team in the history of sports that day, - and for all time with that move !! 'nuff said. - bring it guys, and may the best team win.
LA played in the last matchup until the third, and the Spurs still dominated when he was in. Parker was dogshit in that game as well (though he has been in many of the games they played against each other this season).
As for third matchup, Spurs were without Tim, Tony, and Leonard as well, who are arguably their three best players.

I look at it that Dallas has pushed them to seven, and we're a better offensive team than Dallas. I see Dallas as having exposed San Antonio, and now we can capitalize.
Exactly. This Spurs team is extremely beatable.
spurs simply because we have a advantage everywhere
I feel like Lillard and Aldridge match up better with San Antonio. It all starts with them two having big games.
Spurs - another year older
Spurs - a team that we have dominated in the last few years
Spurs - no answer for Damian Lillard or LaMarcus Aldridge
Please, please let it be the Spurs.
I think people are afraid of the Spurs' legend and not the actual team.
The team is old man... Duncan is seriously no match for Aldridge. It's not even close. Pop is a damn good coach, but coaching won't help you against this team. I honestly think we are the spurs kyptonite
If Dame had a good series against the Rockets, he's going to go full HAM against San Antonio. Did you see the numbers I posted?
I think we can beat anyone, but I really think we match up well with San Antonio.

smhThought this through this morning. I want HCA- so Dallas it is.
Carlisle is no slouch, btw. Dude has coached circles around Pop for much of this series. But after this emotional high we will be getting off of, I don't want us to go into SA and get plastered in the first two games.
Natebishop is a hell of an analyst. Guy knows his stuff
Thanks. I spent many years honing my craft.
You've certainly got it down. There isn't a child in Portland who can consistently predict the Blazers to win every game the way you can.
Thanks. I spent many years honing my craft.
Since you don't post here, and you have no idea who I am, I really don't think any of your insults hold much water.
But yeah, I figured since we have utterly dominated you in the regular season over the last four or five years, it would translate into the post season. I guess I was wrong.
Well if you're a guy who thinks regular season matchups are a predictor of postseason success, then I guess there isn't a whole lot else I need to know about you. If the Blazers beating the Spurs (while they rest their starters), makes you feel better about your team, then so be it.
Speaking of utterly dominated...
Hahaha, oh please, are you doing to blame all those losses on resting your starters? How many of those games were missing Parker/Duncan/Manu?
If you think the Spurs play their starters playoff minutes during the regular season, you're retarded. If you think the Spurs play their playoff rotation during the regular season, you're retarded. It's funny watching you brag about regular season wins against a team that just took a runny shit all over a team you predicted would win.
