Tonight the Pacers play Golden State.

Who do you root for in that matchup? Do you want the Pacers to knock a western conference foe down a peg, or are you getting greedy and hoping the Pacers lose so we can make up some ground on the best overall record in the league?

Good question. I don't root for either knowing it will help us either way. I just root for Portland and whomever SA and OKC play.

I hope they destroy each other.

I would think the odds say we should root for Indiana. GS is more inclined to be our competition.

Short term: IND losing is great

Long term: Take GS down!!

Indiana, in spite of Luis Scola.

Still, it's hard for me to root against a team with a guy named "Festus" on it.

I say Indiana because I'd love for them to get homecourt in the East and beat Miami. Playing Miami scares me.

The best outcome would be if both teams are infected by zombies and they eat each others brains.

I root for Portland to win.

Indy. Want all of the west teams to lose all of their games. The I can start worrying about how the east shakes out.

Indy. I'm from Indiana, like their team and enjoy seeing a small market team succeed.

I'll worry about HCA vs. the Pacers when we meet them in the finals. We both have to get their first. That means HCA for us in the West and HCA for them in the East.

BNM

I figured this was probably the answer, but I thought maybe a few people would start thinking HCA for the finals

I love the Pacers, they took over my as my Eastern Conference favorite team from the Pistons. I love blue collar teams who play defense all out and just do things the right way. The Pistons were that way with Chauncey, RIP, Sheed, Big Ben and Prince, they were also like that with Laimbeer, Thomas, Dumars and Rodman.

Happy to see coach Nate with such a good squad, IND lookin sharp!

If only we had the frontcourt depth they have..

Festus hasn't played yet this season, injured I think.
I actually like him a lot, they're going to be a better team when he returns.

Yeah the Pacers look like the best team in the NBA IMO. They are impressive.

They also play a brand of basketball that works well in the playoffs.

Yeah, but as long as Aldridge continues his "one leg jumps" against Hibbert, I like the Blazers' chances against them.

I don't know anything about him except that he's a large black man who shares a name with this dude:
