Who do you want at 25?

What about Kenny Wooten?
  • "Similar to Jordan Bell but bigger, longer and with even better bounce."
Probably available in the second round. http://www.nbadraftroom.com/p/kenny-wooten.html

I'm a UofO alum and a Duck fan. I actually wanted the Blazers to spend a 2nd on Dillon Brooks more than on Bell. Brooks would have been an effective bench wing for Portland. The injuries last season are a big concern though

Wooten is not near the level of Bell. He has almost no offensive game...at all. He's a 6'7 player with one major skill: blocking shots at the college level. That won't translate well into the NBA

If Louie Kings slips to 25, he might be worth a late 1st. Bol Bol I really have no clue; he may be a bust or he may be something like Porzingas. But any 7' player with a majore foor injuy at 18 years old should be red-flagged. But please Olshey, no more 6'2 SG's in either round of the draft

Lol, yeah, maybe we could trade Meyers for him. Meyers is taller, hits the three better and is much better at flexing.

But is he tho??

Sure, but Meyers absolutely owns Zion in awkwardness and in poses an NBA big man should never do.

Can't argue there:

Do we even need a draft pick? This team is primed to win it all next year with the addition of one or two veterans who can shoot and play defense. We don’t need any more rookies.

Because next season is all that matters? :dunno:

No, just the #1 priority.
Sure. But when someone says "do we even need a draft pick?", it just sounds myopic. Yes, if trading the pick can help us "win it all", then great, go for it. Otherwise, you draft a player and continue building the team.

Just got done watching Cam Johnson against Duke 26/7. He score at all 3 levels play some good D. He fits Stotts offensive perfect and if he there at 25 I would probably pick him before Bazley. Who I wasn't impressed with was Cody White. How they see him 10 draft I don't know. He didn't handle pressure well and real loose with his handles.

She could probably impale me with her shoulder bones.

Different strokes for different folks. :)

She did go anorexic for a while, but thats sooo easy to fix, especially if she were to dine with me regularly. lol.

There were times though that she was near perfect in my opinion. And those eyes? man...

This is what I would like to see happen. We do the following:

But in this we swap picks with Orlando and take thier 16th pick and they get our 25th pick plus our 2021 1st.

We then draft this guy at #16.

Cam Johnson is already 23 years old, he looks like another Justin Jackson type Player. Would be a waste of a 1st round pick.

1st: Is Bazley really worth a 1st round pick? Most mock drafts i saw they see him in the 2nd round or not even as a 2nd round prospect

2nd: Does Neil really want a player with Klutch sports and Rich Paul environment? He talks so much about good charackter guys and culture and bla bla bla, i dont know if Neil is interested in him

I had to do a double take to make sure it was you that posted this. I'm not used to seeing posts from you with a trade analysis or about a draft prospect and this post had both!

There is plenty for me to review here that I usually find someone else who has said what I would have said. I used ot propose more trades in years past and what not, but have had less time the last couple years to be informed enough to know.

I still dont know whether Orlando would want Otto and all that, but I think with how the salaries drop off along with the picks they get, they would feel about the same as Chicago and plan their future around their cap relief and picks they gain.

At the same time, we get another potential foundational pc to put next to Collins and Simons for the future, but also a guy who could likely come off the bench next season and have an immediate impact.

really though. The most important move I think the Blazers could make this season is hiring an elite defensive minded assistant coach. Let Stotts focus on the offense more and hand over the defensive coaching and maturing of our players to a guro of that nature.

Simons needs defensive help. So will Okpula.

Now you guys can break this down as to why its wrong in so many ways. lol
