Who would you keep and who goes on the current roster?

Trade the Blazers and NO picks for a good player or take the picks?

What Free agents would you target?

Dame/Ant
Ant/Hart
Little/Hart/Winslow
Acquired PF for 1 of our Lottery picks and one of Hughes/Johnson plus filler if needed/Winslow/Watford
Nurk/Draft pick/Brown

....just throwing the Draft pick at Center, but it could be at SF/PF as well.

Blazers Keep

Dame
Ant
Little
Hart
Nurkic
Winslow
Watford
Brown
Ingles

Trade for Jerami Grant in the draft

Target Thomas Bryant and Patty Mills FA

PG: Lillard/ Mills
SG:Simons/Ingles/Johnson
SF Little/Winslow
PF: Grant/Hart/Brown
C: Jusuf Nurkic/Bryant/Watford

With Brandon Williams and someone undrafted on a 2 way

Dame, Simons, Hart, Nurk stay. Keep the picks (assuming we even have them) unless we can deal them for a young player with an actual future. Forget free agents. The pool of available FAs is weak and if anybody really good was available they wouldn't sign here at any price.

if Portland keeps both Little and Winslow while counting on both to be significant parts of the rotation they are taking a big risk. Those are two of the bigger injury magnets in the league

Amen! Dumping Collins was one of the few smart moves Olshey made and Cronin needs to do the same with Little. As for Winslow, a vet who has failed with multiple teams isn't suddenly going to change his stripes. He is what he is - and what he is isn't worth worrying about.

Here's my question:

Suppose somebody puts a gun to your head and says "I've seen parallel universes and playing Dame and Ant together reduces BOTH of them to about 2/3 the effectiveness of when one plays without the other, and I demand that you choose:
1. Keep Ant, trade Dame
2. Keep Dame, trade Ant.
Fail to pick one of those two options and I kill you."

Which?

Do we get to know what we can actually procure in trade for either, or are we supposed to just fly blind?

Trade the worse of our pick / New Orleans pick and Little for Grant. Fair trade.

draft best big man in college with our lottery pick

re-sign Nurkic, ANT, MacLemore, Ingles, Bledsoe, Eubanks

free agent - Mills

agree with Wiz, Little has to go. He's not that great and you cant rely on him. He plays 4-5 games and then you see him on the injury report. Even when he's healthy you always see him on the injury report. He is a good rotation player, but that’s it

Pure leap of faith
Faith is only as valid as the object in which it is place. Which begs the question: would this leap require faith in Cronin to make the most of the deal?
