We always judge trades by who got the best player. No doubt CJ is the best scorer, but who is the best 2-way player out of CJ, Roco, Norm, and Hart? Did we actually end up with the "overall" best player, while cutting a shit load of salary? Got to love Hart.

Winslow is better than RoCo. I point that out only because a few fans called him trash.

Edit: Can the Mods edit my Thread title. I meant "who got the best 2-way player"

The better question is who fits what Billups wants more? The answers are more obvious.

I shat on Powell and CJ a lot, but they’re good players. Just didn’t fit here, especially not with the way Billups wants to play. Hart does, he’s a dog and can actually keep players in front of him.

Winslow was a better player than Roco before - the only issue was - will he get back to what he was after his injuries and will he stay healthy going forward.

Is josh hart better than norman powell? Im asking. I know nothing about his game.

Effort is an underrated skill, same with pride. These new guys play with more of both imo.

I think Hart can be a lot like Wesley Matthews, and Matthews was a much better pairing with Dame than CJ

IMHO
Wes gets the edge with three-point shooting.
Hart has way better handles and is better at attacking the rim, and from what I saw today at the beginning of the 4th, better at running the offense for short spurts.
Defensively they are probably the same.

I dont buy that Simons and/or Hart are the answer at 3.

That was true prior to Wes sustaining the Achilles tear. He never made it back to the same level, but previously he & Dame were nearly the Splash Bros on both ends. Thats saying a lot.

At 7:27 Pacific, the thread title reads... "Who is got the best 2-way player?"

Don't blame the messenger

Dame, Simons, Hart, and Little splitting minutes at the 1, 2, and 3 would be 36 minutes each.
Not sure who starts but they can all get a lot of minutes.
Yeah, that will happen like with CJ & Powell. Id like to se them get a 6'7-6'8 SF that can produce and play D. Even Winslow is 6'5 but tough.

Don't you think that Little and Hart are bigger and better defenders than CJ and Norm?
Yeah sure....Naz is a junk yard dog but he's not yet a lock down defender at the three, Hart probably does a better job of getting in front of his man. I think Hart may fit better along with Dame in back court and he's a better defender than Simons or Dame.

It was not there when I immediately there after quoted and responded.

That being said, I apologize for your lack of chill (98.2% of what I post here is sarcasm) and the sand in your vagina. Can I send you some lotion for your “ocean”?

Had to watch this multiple times because I don't think I've seen a Trailblazer move their feet like that on defense since probably Wesley Mathews. If that's the Hart we get on defense, that's a huge win.

I'll take my rose colored glasses off when looking at the rest of the deadline deals, but I at least like what I see so far from Hart.

He also had a huge defensive transition play where he didn't get the foul, defended the ball then switched and went up on the offensive follower, who the ball was passed to and forced an awkward shot mclemore rebounded.

Another play where he rebounded, then pushed the length and then drew a foul going up.

really liking his game and i think Chauncey does too.
Dame/Hart/Ant is better than any three guard lineup we had previously.
