Xbox one
Personally I am not sure why anyone would choose the Xbox One over the PS4 unless you are huge Kinetic fans.
Positives of the PS4 seem to far outweigh the positives of the Xbox One when doing my research.

I'd also give the nod to Xbox if using it to watch tv and all that extra jazz appeals to you. But 90% of the games are gonna be on both systems, so for me it came down to me being interested Sony exclusives (Uncharted, Infamous, Sly, Ratchet, God of War, Ni No Kuni type games) vs Microsoft exclusives of Gears of War, Fable, Halo, and Forza. Titanfall hurt I admit, but I can wait for the 2nd one on both systems

I don't have a PS4 (yet) but that is what I will have this xmas or next. Personally I am not sure why anyone would choose the Xbox One over the PS4 unless you are huge Kinetic fans.

I've gotten NBA 2k14, Madden 25, Dead Rising 3 and Assassins Creed 4. Dead Rising 3 was ok, the biggest draw for me was just killing the hordes of zombies in the game and it definitely fulfills that. Story is pretty meh and the open world is honestly a little to big. I liked the smaller worlds of Dead Rising 1 & 2. I'm going to pick up Forza 5 next. Titanfall looks like it will be really fun, I signed up for the beta yesterday. Sunset Overdrive and Project Spark also look to be really good. For those who don't know Sunset Overdrive is made by the same people behind Ratchet and Clank and Project spark looks to be a build anything type of thing. Like Little Big Planet but with way more depth and ability to make different types of games.
Sunset Overdrive

Fable is the only Xbox game i think i'm still interested in, and those come to the pc for the most part. I'm hoping it isn't just a kinect game now.
The TV & entertainment stuff was a big deal for me. I have a one year old at home so it's super convenient to be able to snap in Sprout or Netflix some kids show so I can keep messing with my leagues on NBA or Madden. It's also fun to have the blazers game snapped to the side while I play something. Makes it really easy to play during the commercial breaks or halftime.

I like the exclusives more on the xbox and the entertainment stuff is pretty cool. Dead Rising, Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, Halo, Forza, Fable and Gears of War isn't bad for exclusives.

I haven't heard anything about Fable in years.
Fable 2 was excellent, I played that game for days. Fable 3 wasn't as good IMHO.
Infamous second son looks really good
I think I will get Thief for the PS4 Feb. 25th. That game looks interesting.

I went with the PS4. I'm not sure if/when I'll end up getting a Xbox One. I've mostly blown through the launch lineup. I still play NBA 2K14 from time to time. I'm excited to play the new Infamous, it looks great.
PC games are keeping me entertained right now. Lots of cool indie stuff during this slow time for AAA games.
Also, much respect for the Rap Man avatar. Never thought I'd see a Giant Bomb reference on S2.
I play Battlefield and NBA2K14 the most right now. I want the permium but I don't know if it's worth it with all of the glitches in the game? I still don't have China Rising which came free and it says it's downloaded.
that game looks awesome. Tomb raider definitive edition looks pretty too
But matches don't end at victory, when one team has acquired enough points in Attrition or Hardpoint Domination. Instead of abruptly cutting to a scoreboard, Titanfall matches end with an epilogue, when the defeated team is given the opportunity to escape via dropship, earning some points of their own and maybe a shred of dignity. Of course, the winning team can put a stop to this, destroying the dropship or wiping out the remaining team members for extra points of their own.
"It's just fixing the controller input, really," said Justin Hendry, design lead on Titanfall, in an interview with The Verge. "It wasn't really where we felt it should be; it was a little overly twitchy with the current controls. Now it's fixed. We're happy with it." According to Respawn, the changes implemented with the update will also improve controls in other titles, but there's no word yet on when this patch would be available.
Earlier this week, Microsoft announced a major Xbox One system update scheduled for release before Titanfall's arrival on March 11. The update features a suite of improvements and additions to the console's multiplayer gaming functionality. Respawn also indicated to The Verge that it's collaborating with Microsoft on an update to the Xbox One's display scaler, which the console uses to upscale games natively rendered at resolutions below 1080p.
I played it on the PS3 so I will wait for Tomb Raider to hit PS+. I don't want to play $60 for a game with just a graphics overhaul. With that said if you have never played the game it would be well worth it though.
Xbox One is not user friendly. Had it for about a month now and get frustrated with it at least every other time I play it. Then there is the whole big brother watching as the system knows who is in the room and who has what controller. Additional monthly fees. I could go on and on.
A couple of features I like and the driving game is a blast . . . but would not buy it again if I do over.
Monthly fees? I know about XBox live but thats yearly.
