CJ or Dame?

and who have most potential to be better?

Potential? If we're using that word for our two best players... :MARIS61:

Probably "ceiling" would be a better word, but give the guy a break; English isn't his first language.

CJ is the better player

Dame has the most potential to get better

Never said his english was bad... I am more poking fun at the word potential and how much it irks people here. His english is great. Don't know how that got taken there...

I didn't mean to imply that you were poking fun at his English, which is quite good by the way. More that there are nuances between "potential" and how high of a "ceiling" a player may have.

When CJ gets the entire defensive focus of the other team and is facing doubles constantly and still putting up AS numbers then i'll think about putting him ahead of Dame.

Still Lillard. People feel Lillard is struggling, but even then, he's playing better than McCollum. Their defensive numbers are about equal, McCollum has a bit of an edge in scoring efficiency (though Lillard's is still very good and a career high) but Lillard has a big edge as a play-maker for others and their turnover rates are even.

I think Lillard is better now and, if both played at their absolute best, Lillard would still be better. His major passing edge is really what separates them.

Stop it. Lillard is a ball hog, who doesn't make teammates better.
You're a mod, I know you've been reading the forums.
Get it together.!

Lillard never punched a guy right in the nose to motivate them (as far as we know). But, at his absolute best, maybe he would!

When Dame was hurt, he put up 31 ppg. Shooting 50% from the field. 4.6 apg, 4.2 rpg all more than season average with Dame. He did fine as the complete main focus

Damn, didn't know KAC was on s2.
Are free commercials for Ivanka next?

None of those teams doubled him or tried to deny him the ball and make him really work hard to get open. He was single covered and it wasn't' even by good defenders in the most part. Klay wasn't covering him most of the GS game as we got destroyed, Kawhi wasn't on him vs SA for pretty much the same reason and then we played Min/Sac/LA/Toronto, Its not surprising CJ put up those numbers in a situation like that.

Edit - Forgot Dame was back for the DET game.

I think Dame is the better player when he is healthy and he is "on". But, Dame doesn't seem to know when he isn't on and probably plays through injuries more that he should. So, he ends up becoming very inefficient in almost every aspect of the game.

CJ seems to know when it isn't his night and defers. Also, CJ has shown a huge pair late in quarters when he gets the shot.
