Plus, our mod list is now very color-diverse. A blue, an orange, 2 purple, a green, a red. And that's critical.

I don't believe this was Ed's doing. Also, I think irrational decisions are just a personal style, nothing to do with grand plans, but Ed can correct me on that if I'm wrong.

TomBoerwinkle#1 was an admin on the site that Denny Crane was admin on as well, previously. Since Denny owns this site, it's up to him who staffs it and he liked the cut of Boerwinkle's jib from past working experience. It's like Bill Parcells (former NFL head coach) bringing in his favourite players on each new team he coached.
