Who is your most disliked basketball broadcaster

1. The Houston Rockets
2. The OKC Thunder
3. The Boston Celtics

National: Reggie Miller, Jon Barry and Hubie Brown all fucking suck.

Barry us fucking clueless.

He had to be reminded that he was in Portland and not in Seattle.

Whoever the guy is who broadcasts Miami Heat home games is my least favorite..Hubie is right up there as well as Jon Barry and Reggie Miller..Mark Jackson is horrible..I thought in the past Magic Johnson and Bill Walton were hard on the ears too. I like Chris Webber, Marv Albert, Grant Hill, the former broadcaster Steve Kerr was one of my favorites. Steve Smith is ok. I still believe Brian Wheeler is a great great play by play guy. He's the voice of the Blazers for me.

Boston announcers are by far the worst homer crew on the planet

Worst Local:
- Bill Worrell/Clyde Drexler (Houston) - Hands down the whiniest broadcast team in all of the NBA. And it doesn't help that their voices are like nails on a chalkboard.
-Boston's crew (although they've gotten somewhat tolerable now that the Celtics suck).

Worst National:
- Reggie Miller TNT
- Mark Jackson ESPN
- Jon Barry ESPN
- Hubie Brown ESPN

As for the best, I love any of TNT's play-by-play guys and ESPN's Mike Breen and Mike Tirico.

Toss up between Drexler and Hubie "okay, listen up alright, this is basketball, its a ball and a hoop okay? That is how he scored two points" Brown.

Who is the dude that starts out with everything as "So..."?

Dick Stockton. He speaks in bullet points and is overall stale.

There are some really bad color guys on the radio broadcasts. I think the Pacers have one...not sure who he is. The Jazz have maybe the least biased broadcasting crew on the radio.

I like the Jazz too.

And the Raptors

I don't even listen to OKC or Houston broadcasts, so it's easy.

Marc Jackson and Jon Barry are not color commentators... they are puppets... and really bad ones.

Also, one of my favorites on the radio side is the guy from the Wizards. I just love the way he says "he scores!" for either team... and he seems like a genuinely nice guy.

The guy I used to not care for was Johnny 'Redd' Kerr. Thought he was a big baby. And unfortunately, endured a lot of his games on WGN.

Jon Barry is a dolt. I can't stand him.

In our last game Mark Jackson did color, and was so bad that I turned off the sound. He kept yapping how Westbrook is a great for all time. Okay, Westbrook is doing well this season, but how about not lecturing us all game about it? On every topic, he doesn't talk, he lectures. He should be called Lecturer, not Coach or Color Commentator.

When Crabbe played for the Idaho Stampede, we posters were saying that their 2 commentators were surprisingly competent. I had expected the level of radio high school games, but those 2 could step in if the Blazer guys got run over.

The best national TV colorman of all time was Rick Barry. Rick Barry always took the highest offer. That's why he jumped to the ABA, then returned to the NBA years later for a record sum. His mind was sharp. He was the only national TV guy who would criticize plays, so he alienated people, so he was demoted to local TV in the early 80s--Sonic colorman. The money wasn't big, and remember his history about money, so he retired to live in Seattle. Too bad.

No votes for Chicago radio play-by-play man Chuck Swirsky, the lone dissenting vote against Brandon Roy's ROY win? Or has enough time passed?

Jon Barry now, and when he was on TV, Tom Tolbert.

I vaguely remember Pete Pranica being obnoxious a few years ago when playing Memphis. Must have been bitter at the time.

And let's be honest. Mike and Mike are pretty homerific too.

I enjoy Dallas' team, whoever they are.

Celtics crew, Bulls crew, Dominique Wilkins, Jon Barry, Hubie Brown, and Mark Jackson are the WORST!
