I can do you one better (worse). I used to paint Warhammer minis... but I very rarely ever played.

I used to have some of my miniatures out in my apartment... and I still got laid occasionally by women who took a look at them had no idea what Warhammer was.

That is really swimming upstream...

I think that I enjoyed the painting more than the games that I actually played. It demands a lot of eye for detail, of course, and a lot of patience. I really enjoyed that.

I competed in their national tournaments from when I was 14 (Geeking out now). Out of 120 the lowest I ever placed was 37th. Highest was tied for 10th.

LA/Seattle/Boston were the three I went to every year.

Be careful, he may take you up on that and give you some pills that he says are vids or perks, but actually slip you some benzodiazepines. You never know about those internet weirdos.
