I was thinking about our most recent success years. Unfortunately post Mattingly. So I thought I'd take a quick look. Now keep in mind that Cashman took over from Watson in 1998. How much power he had exactly in his 1st year or so I'm guessing was minimal at best. So, who do we thank for.............
Bernie Williams (Debut 1991)
Jorge Posada (Debut 1995)
Derek Jeter (debut 1995)
Andy Pettitte (debut 1995)
Mariano Rivera (debut 1995)
Paul O'Neill (Trade with the Reds 1993)
David Cone (Signed as a free agent 1995)
Tino Martinez (Trade with Seattle 1996)
David Wells (Signed as a free agent 1997)
Chuck Knoblach (Trade with Minnesota 1998)
Scott Brosius (Signed as free agent 1998)
Roger Clemens (Trade with Toronto 1999)
Mike Mussina (Signed as free agent 2001)
Then for the many roll players that came on board. So what do you guys think?
