Because, the Bible speaks of our bodies as being temples. That said, it talks about drinking too "much". Doesn't say anything about not drinking at "all".

I mentioned that I, "personally", think using marijuana is a sin. Does that mean it is? It's not my call in the end.

I had lots of so-called "good times" in my life. To be honest, sin can be fun. My life changed tremendously when I got saved, though. I became a new creation. Old things (ways) passed away and all things became new. Never been more content/happier since. :)

February, 1989. :)

That said, I don't think I've ever been closer to the Lord than I have been the last number of months. Pretty much since a breakup with a gal earlier this year.

The Christian walk is a marathon.....including closer times and sometimes less closer times with the Lord. He is faithful, though. His love, mercy, and forgiveness is unending! Amen!

You gave up to soon, of course 1989 pot was sinful, but thanks to hydroponics, plant genetics, and improved harvesting, today's marijuana is simply heavenly.
 
Okay got back from watching "world war z" and I just loved the movie! Maybe the dose made it a bit more 3D?
 
Mags, after reading all this, I just wanna know one thing of you; if you're addled brain is not due to drug use, then what do you attribute it to? The cause, I mean? Also, just a heads up -- no doubt in your mind you believe you've won some debate, but clearly it is not one within this thread. You can barely talk (by some standards) and your fear response (that's when you spew the un-jesus-like hatred when you feel challenged beyond your ability to refute) is hair trigger. Sounds like drugs, man -- not sayin' it is, though, as that would bring on name calling.

You've not even addressed nok's latest question and yet persist on claiming you've won some debate. I mean it's funny to watch, but funny weird, not funny haha. Stop being so hateful and insecure, believer. Oh and, please slow down and try to take in what others are actually saying in response to you, that way your responses will seem more like responses and less like the rabid, emotionally-based posturing they appear to be. Also, step one in a debate is understanding what is at issue. You may wanna start there, sport.

As for the topic of Christianity not being a religion; I've already stated that works is not what he's you to heaven. And religion doesn't save you. Jesus saves you.

And you should take advice and stay on topic. This was derailed because some kid got bent at what I said. Obviously you should take a little of your advice and pay attention.

I am on topic -- one of many breached in this thread, so get off that horse. I mentioned nothing of derailment. Also 5 or 6 times? Dude I just read you do it every three weeks (drug user translation: twice a month, lol) that works out to 24 times a year, or (if you were accurate the first time) at least 17. You got on your opponent when he clarified his position for you ... and you called it "back peddling," but he was only trying to clarify for your understanding. For the record, back peddling is going from "once every three weeks" to "5-6 times a year."

Hope, we've traded a lot of posts in a few different forums over the years, I'm not sure how reading through a thread and then teeing off of someone is helpful or constructive towards good conversation. If you have some questions about Mag's believes on god and drugs then ask them. Your post was insulting.

My friend, you _must_ be on acid. Your feathers get ruffled over 'addle brained' in response to numerous typos, left out words, misused words, failures of logic, etc., etc. And yet I see nothing about the litany of profanity directed toward mag's opponent. Hypocritical mod, heal thyself. :-)

Oh no you caught me! Lol. What ever am I gonna do? Still doesn't change the fact that none of my debates were ever under te influence. Albert Hoffman experimented with LSD until the age of 80 and lived to 100. He was still speaking in the science community until the age of 100.

So your comment is futile because of your myopic understanding. But keep reaching sonny; maybe one day you will have your day in the sun!
