Wow, so many to choose from:

Wesley: 19 & 7
Dame: 24 & 9
LaMarcus: 25, 13, & 5
Nico: 17, 13, & 7
Luke: Out of NOWHERE!
The bench at large...

Great come-from-behind-win-on-the-road fellas!!

The main reason I posted this separate thread is because I was SO impressed by the overall team balance, tonight. That said, who woulda think it would be JJ that had a lemon?

I'm still hopeful the Blazers can make the playoffs. We all knew, though, that ANY chance for success was dependent on a contributing bench. I've now seen two relatively solid performances by the scrub bunch. I'm hopeful that they're on to something!

GO BLAZERS!!!

The bench actually took 25 shots. I think that's pretty huge, personally.

If I had to choose just one, I'd go with Luke. He played the most over his head tonight, and I think he is what put us over the top. The others you listed all played very well, and I think they all made clutch plays that we had to have, but we count on those from them every game. I'm really happy for Luke tonight.

I'd give it to the bench at large, knowing that Babbitt is the real reason why.

the starters really stepped up besides the bench, but gotta give the game ball to babbs

LMA played his best game all year.

Oh, all right. Aldridge. You can't argue with 12-17, 13 rbs, 5 assists, 3 blocks and +15.

You still miss him, don't you Denny? But Ben Gordon's not walking through that door! Unless you offer just about anybody on a short contract...

I think he'd have been perfect alongside Roy when he was healthy.

He's had several really good games this year.

I want to put a shock collar on LMA that zaps him anytime he extends out further than 10 feet on offense. Honestly, I was so pleased with him, that takes a lot to battle on the inside all game, but boy is he great when he does.

Lillard was also great at getting to the line, 14 free throw attempts by him tonight, and he was the one who began comeback

The bench, led by Babbitt actually looked really good tonight.

Three game balls.

Nah, Roy was a good passer, but he wasn't a PG. And you have to have an actual PG next to Gordon.

I'm still mad at Gordon for repeatedly dicking team GB around. He could be an international SUPERSTAR. He could be a slightly-more-athletic Juan Carlos Navarro. If only he would realize this.

(Actually Charlotte has two team-GM-dick-arounders, with Mullens as well. But I don't care if he doesn't play. We Brits have a bad enough "ugly" reputation as it is.)

Gordon needs a big SG who can pass and handle the ball. I don't think there was a better match.

BG had a 17.7 PER before tonight's game. I bet it goes up.

Luke Babbitt had the best game of his professional career. That it was his 74th and the box score says 9pts/5rebs says quite a lot. That it was maybe the best performance of the season by any Blazer bench guy says maybe even more.

But hey, it's progress. Or at least a sign of life. I'm a starving man in a desert and if you offer me a thimble of Kool Aid I ain't going to complain that you spit in it first.

LMA had a monster game. I think he plays MUCH better when we don't use a "Center" and force LMA to play in the post. I love the boards.... but the best thing is that he didn't take more than 2 or 3 shots from outside of 15-feet.

I'm surprised that hasn't gotten more attention in the States. It pissed me off, and I don't even have anything to do with the UK in the slightest. How can you constantly jerk around a national team the way Gordon has, especially during a year in which your team's representing the host country? He really could have been a hero but instead left his team high-and-dry, again.

I liked Michael Jordan wearing a shirt that said "Jordan" on the front. You know, in case you don't know who he is or he forgets. Kind of like Stoudamire with his "Damon" tattoo.

I still cringe when LMA takes those 15-20 ft jump shots because I never know if he is going to make those 50% of the time. Is there a stat out there for him?

Lillard, we can depend on every game but seriously the bench came through in this game.

Babbit is not great on the defensive end but he went over the top and was assertive with his ability in the game and it mattered most. I think too many people have written him off but with 15+ minute time in game play he is still an effective player.

In the end I give the game ball to Luke, because he ended up with 9 pts, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, 1 steal, and 1 turnover with +19

I hope Babbitt is resigned for the minimum if he gets more playing time but in Stotts system we will see if that will pan out or not by this spring/summer.

It's no surprise Aldridge went into beast mode tonight. Hickson played limited minutes, and some of us have said all along that he and Hickson aren't a good fit with each other

I think there were a lot of stars, but my game ball goes to Stotts. Stotts messed with his lineup until he found one that could do something. Then with stars like Aldridge, Lillard, Batum on the floor, he demanded the team get the ball into Luke's hands. Great, great coaching job

the question I have is why do we see so few games from him like this? He has the talent and ability to do this at will, but his average rebounds are what,6?

LMA was the biggest full game star and Lillard was a close second with his 4th quarter heroics. The others were very valuable; but those two kept us in the game.

If Aldridge can play with this aggressiveness every game; we would be hard to beat. I hope Stotts sees this and uses him more in this way.
