Offensively Brook Lopez might be the best, but overall I'm thinking Duncan or Griffin.

I'm very curious to see Anthony Davis and Drummond later on in their careers though.

I think it was ever to play as a blazer.

But as for griffin; I think he will have a Larry Johnson career. He will have an injury that will hamper his athleticism and he will become a mediocre player after/

Griffin's number are now and always have been worse than LMA's.

Right now, this season, Aldridge is playing much better than Griffin... but Blake's rookie numbers were insane.

22.5 ppg, 12.1 boards, 3.8 assists, and 50% FG

Compare that to Aldridge's current numbers

21 ppg, 8.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 47.7% FG

I guess I'll add my 2 cents to this thread. I'd go along with those who have said that the correct answer is "neither". As far as I can recall, only one championship team has been built around the PF position: the Duncan-era Spurs. Most titles have been won by teams with elite wing players. The Blazers clearly don't have one of those and I don't know if they can find a way to get one. Assuming that they have to go the Detroit route, then I think Aldridge would be the better choice since he's more willing to blend his skills with his teammates, IMO. Love is a very talented player, but my sense is that he wants to be the star and is the more selfish player.

The interesting thing is, would the Spurs have won without Parker or Ginobili? I think Tony Parker is just as much a reason why they won as Duncan.

No doubt, but Duncan has been the centerpiece to the franchise since Robinson retired.

They won a title without Parker and ginobli. Their first championship was Duncan, Robinson and Sean Elliot.

Okay, they won with one of the top 50 players in league history and an excellent bench full of veterans who had been there before in a lockout shortened season. Their dominance wasn't until the 00's when Robinson was gone. The team was at its best in 03, 05, and 07. Those are all with Parker at the helm.
