<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Henacy:</div><div class="quote_post">Kapono is a better shooter, but I dont think he has more to offer than Johnson other than that. DeMarr is a decent defender and runs the floor much better.
Anyway, earlier this week I seen Fred Jones, of the Pacers might be on the market. He is a undersized at the two and his jumper is streaky at best...but he is a good defender and would work well next to Kidd and our other wings...maybe Zoran Plannic would be enough to acquire him.</div>
Fred Jones for Planinic? That wouldn't happen even if Larry Bird were Rod Thorn's brother. You would have to give up at least a first round pick along with Planinic to even make Bird consider the trade. Be real, how good is Planinic right now? How good can he be? He's not been able to play backup minutes at the PG spot behind Kidd and that's why Rod Thorn brought in Travis Best last season and Jeff McInnis this upcoming season. A third string PG for a 6th man capable of starting on a very good team?
