Wonder if any teams' GMs are calculating that Dame will be pushing for a trade by midseason?

I don’t know what this means. I’mSo Gobert was holding them back, huh?
I don’t know what this means. I’m
Just saying the above teams will be better than us this upcoming season.
Jesus, even I'm not pessimistic enough to think the Jazz will be better than us now.I don’t know what this means. I’m

I guess you haven’t seen OUR roster…… standby…..They just traded Gobert. They are taking a shit next season.
To be honest this entire thread is a little crazy and you referring to seeing our roster is crazy and presumptuous as well. We haven't seen Dame healthy in a long time but he's still been one of the top 10 in the league. The last time we saw Ant he was dominating. Grant has shown that he can be a fantastic defender and we know that he has skills at every level on offense, just not enough to carry one of the worst rosters in the league. Nurk is Nurk but if somehow he is consistently engaged and willing to accept a role he's fantastic as an old school big. At SF we will have Hart, Nas and possibly Sharpe competing for the starting spot and the other two coming off the bench. We acquired a key contributor to the reigning champions in our back court off of the bench. Justise seems like he can contribute a lot off of the bench as well at 3 or 4. I'm not a huge Eubanks fan, so we do have a hole at backup 5 but we can go small like a lot of successful teams.I guess you haven’t seen OUR roster…… standby…..

I'm not saying we're "taking it to the limit" or at the "peak" of the game like Joe said we were going for but we are a playoff team. Minny just fucked themselves going with twin towers in 2022. The Warriors bench is getting picked apart (not that we'll be better than them). The Mavs got worse. The Jazz might be tearing the whole thing down. Both NOLA and Memphis have questions to answer before they're better than us when healthy. So yes there are four teams that are for sure going to be better than us in the West if healthy but after that... there are a lot of questions and I think this roster is at least better than we've had in the last few seasons.
Don't give in to the Pouty Puss rhetoric.Yeah, I'm approaching optimism.
Goddamn, just writing that reminds me I'm a homer. But I mean it. We have a lot going for us.
The Gary Payton II threw me a little, but I've come around on him. We are doing our thing. Someone's got a vision, whether it's Cronin or Dame or Billups or a combination of the three whatever, I'm ready to see it in action...Don't give in to the Pouty Puss rhetoric.
We have a lot going for us to be as good as we've been in the Dame era but we don't have anything going for us as far as actually contending for a title this upcoming season without a very unseen move. So people that are saying that we're going to miss the playoffs are jumping to some big conclusions but obviously we're not winning anything of consequence,Yeah, I'm approaching optimism.

We have to start somewhere though. The goal of next season should be to strike fear. Our squad should be competitive against anyone. There'll obviously be growing pains. But coming out of next year, I don't expect the waffling from Dame and whatever else; I think we will be locked in and dangerous. A lot depends on Ant, Nas, and Sharpe, but that's okay. Those guys are super talented. We have a lot going for us to be as good as we've been in the Dame era but we don't have anything going for us as far as actually contending for a title this upcoming season without a very unseen move. Kings might not be worseWarriors
Clippers
Suns
Grizzlies
Wolves
Pelicans
Nuggets
Mavs
Lakers
It's a much shorter list of who's worse than us, Pathetic, four rebuilding teams and the Kings;
Kings
Jazz
Thunder
Rockets
Spurs
Jazz Thunder Rockets all have better assets in terms of rostered players and picks.Kings might not be worse
Jazz are right now
Thunder has a nice young core
Rockets have a really nice young core
Spurs are worse
Yep. Start the fuck overJazz Thunder Rockets all have better assets in terms of rostered players and picks.
So really we have the worse position to build a contender than all but 2 teams in the west, and that's with an all NBA player. So Pathetic.
Yep, time to move onYep. Start the fuck over
The Jazz are literally trying to tank. If they finish better than us they'll be madder than we will.I guess you haven’t seen OUR roster…… standby…..
...in the hearts of Blazers fans? Because I can't imagine fear being struck anywhere elseWe have to start somewhere though. The goal of next season should be to strike fear.
With chemistry this squad could rocket up from 10th in the West to possibly even 8th!Truth is nobody knows shit.
What are we basing any of this on?
Names?
Last year?
Each year is different, the league is way too talented top to bottom to know anything without one ingredient.......
Chemistry.
All the analytics in the world cannot factor that. It is truly the single most important aspect.
That is when I began my strong belief in Chauncey.Without any star studded names Ant, Nurk, Winslow and Hart beat the Warriors around the deadline and had to be shut down after winning 4 in a row......people have such short term memories about that eye opening stretch where with just Winslow and Hart's defense....we absolutely looked great and that was all without Dame and CJ
In my view right now we're way better than we were starting last season and it's not close. I do love going into the season with underdog predictions from the media though.....those folks saying..might make the play in? I feel more like, might actually have home court advantage in the playoffs ...choices.That is when I began my strong belief in Chauncey.

Walter White knew it.
