I say Dallas. They're on a roll, and nobody else is. They're gelling and they're better than their record, because they were without Nowitzki most of the year.

There's no way the L*kers won't be in the WCF.

Dallas looked great tonight, and their vets have a sense of urgency going, but look at their upcoming schedule -

Indiana
Chicago
@ Lakers
@ Denver
@ Sacramento
@ Portland
Phoenix
Denver
@ New Orleans
Memphis
New Orleans

I haven't checked out the Lakers, Blazers, or Jazz remaining schedules, but that's got to be the toughest road left for the #8 contenders. Even one of their "gimme" games, against Sactown, comes on a road trip where they'll be flying in overnight after playing in Denver.

Am I too late to say DAL?

Would love the Lakers not making the playoffs! So DAL or us I think can do it.

It's gonna be either Dallas or Portland, whoever wins the game in Portland. Lakers are about to go on a big free fall (they'll lose at Minnesota tonight). Jazz are out of it once we beat them twice in the next week.

Normally I would assume you were crazy, but Minny are also looking good right now. For some reason Chase Budinger is their magic totem. They have an elite record when he plays.

Artest is out, kobe limping and Lakers have a tough road trip. Doesn't look good!

Lakers will get blown out tonight. I feel it. Then tomorrow is an automatic loss.

Such a blatantly obvious missed call. What I hate as much as the ref not having the balls to call it, was his insistence of that NOT being a foul when Rubio was pleading to him. NBA has way too much to lose with LA missing the playoffs-- they won't let it happen.

I said Houston, but only because they and the Lakers are going to swap positions ... although there is a compelling case to be made for Dallas.

In any case it aint gonna be the Blazers, that's for damn certain.

If we win the next two, we're right back in it.
